Chapter 18: The Double Graduation Experiment

(Kaede's POV)

DING DONG, BING BONG!
Rise and shine, ursine!

"Where did the Monokubs go?" I thought out loud. I kinda liked the pink one, she wasn't completely insufferable. I have a shower and go to meet everyone for breakfast. As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by Kokichi.

"Heya Yayde! Here, I saved you a spot!" I sat down in between him and Maki.

"Morning Kokichi! Morning Maki!"

"Morning." Maki replied. I swung my chair back to talk to Shuichi.

"Hey, Shuichi, we should hang out sometime! We don't do it a lot." I said across the table.

"Oh, yeah! We should. Not today though, I'm busy."

"Oh alright, another time then!"

"Defidently!" We turned back to our food, but Miu was in my face.

"Ah-!"

"Woah, chill Titless! I just.." She squated to be level to my ear, "I made you something to stop the cameras, you and Cockitchi meet me in storage in your free time." She whispered.

"How will I know when to meet you?" I hushed back.

"I'm in there all day gathering new equipment for another project."

"Alright, thanks." She stood up and walked back to her seat.

We finished our breakfast and I was nervous to check out the recently added floor, but I felt a little safer because Kokichi was there with me. And I was right to be scared, it was pretty creepy..

•°~I don't really need to describe the new floor. We got the anthropology lab, the artist lab, the three seance rooms, and I think that was all on that floor~°•

"Another motive!? Just give it up, Monokuma, nobody's gonna fall for it this time!" Kaito yelled at a cabinet.

Maki went up to him and tilted his head to face a camera, "I think you're supposed to talk to that, genius." She said, making Kokichi giggle.

We all eventually made our way into the gym. I was hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.

"Oh, look at that! All twelve of you made it! Wonderful!" He cheered, "I present to you: the newwww motive!!" He paused for dramatic effect, "The last few times, I have a feeling I didn't bring myself to the high standards you've leveled me, so I've got something extra special! Something that will be a game changer! It even bends the rules, it will even-"

"Oh, Fuckin hell, what is it?" Miu shouted.

"Right. Drumroll, please!" We heard someone slapping their knees in the background, it was Kokichi, and he looked like he was having fun with this. How could he? A big, bold text appeared above the bear.

Motive: If you graduate, you can bring someone with you! Dead or alive

"Oh... okay!" Kokichi said.

"Huuuh!? Waddya mean 'oH, oKaY!' ?? I put a lot of work into this!" Monokuma sounded really annoyed.

"It just isn't as bad as I expected. So, Kaybae, wanna go literally anywhere else?"
