Hello all...
—————

"Was that a goddamn meme reference?" Aizawa demanded, his face a mix of anger, relief, and confusion glowing from the phone's screen.

"Yeah," the couple answered in unison, collectively sheepish over the whole situation.

"I thought you were going to die and you send me a meme?"

"Yes sir," Shouto said bluntly, not knowing quite the right response to this question.

"You're okay though?" The teacher's voice softened as relief returned to his body, pinching the bridge of his nose, annoyed.

"Yes,"

"Thank god," With a sigh, the teacher, stared grouchily at the screen. "Scare me like that again, and I'll kill you myself,"

"Hey!! That's not nice!" Izuku laughed, popping into frame and sticking his tongue out.

"Neither is scaring me that bad,"

"HI!" A small blur tumbled over the couch back behind Aizawa, Eri quickly sticking her beaming face in the camera before bolting off, followed by a taller purple-ish blur leaping over their unfazed father.

"HEY-O!" Another, older sounding voice called, followed by a small crash and cutesy giggles.

"Are you at the dorms right now?"

"No, no, we're still with Recovery Girl," the freckled boy answered, playfully trying to distract his boyfriend from the FaceTime.

"Alright, we'll it's 8:45 now, so if she'll let you, think about getting back soon,"

"I won't keep them too late," the nurse assured.

She was true to her word, by ten o'clock the boys were back in Shouto's dorm, getting ready for bed and still shaking off that heart-attack-of-a-lifetime.

"Izu?" Shouto called, sitting up a little on the bed.

"Hm?" he returned, tapping his toothbrush on the side of the sink to shake off the water and tossing it in the drawer.

"I," pausing to think of the right word, he glanced quickly away then back. "Miss you,"

"Huh? I'm in the bathroom? You can literally see me?"

"Yes, but come back over here,"

"Okay, babes, okay," giving a soft laugh, he strode to the bedside, rolling his eyes and pecking a little kiss on his boyfriend's lips. "I'll be back in a second, just lemme finish getting ready for bed,"

Puffing out a disappointed breath, the sick boy slipped back under his blankets, almost sulking.

"You really are so cute," across his face, an expression of absolute adoration and love sat, a grateful sparkle flickering atop emerald irises, reflecting the image of his beloved boyfriend. "By the way, you should keep that's sweater," referring to the one he'd given in the nurse's office, "It looks nicer on you,"

"Oh, thanks, it's comfy, very nice... wait, are you sure?"

"Of course," pecking on one more kiss, he grabbed a pair of pajamas, brought down from his own dorm, and ducked into the bathroom to change and wash his face. Leaving his boyfriend to wallow pleasedly in the hoodie.

Finally, much to the joy of his cold, achey, muscles and desire for comfort, Midoriya returned to the bed, snuggling right up.

It was almost eleven o'clock by then, but, after that adrenaline rush, neither were remotely tired. Instead of sleeping, the two entertained themselves with a British-Guy-Nature-Documentary, hoping they'd both probably be asleep by the end, or possibly earlier.

And, they were. Sho was the first to go, passed out almost ten minutes into the thing and, as much as his boyfriend would like to deny, he was out cold only five minutes later.

Blessedly, the two slept peacefully throughout the night, not waking, nor stirring even once. Some of the best sleep they'd gotten in several days.

That next morning was as usual, quiet. Though the air carried a sense of optimism, as it always does on a Friday, especially in the early hours.

Shouto sat up second of the two, the sheet-lines printed adorably on his rosy cheeks, painting a soft smile across his boyfriend's sleepy face.

Murmuring 'good mornings' they stayed in bed extra long, basking in the sunlight and cuddling for a while to wake up.

A few minutes later, upon Izuku's remembrance, the sick boy was given another ibuprofen, but refused to leave the bed or let go of his boyfriend's waist in a sleepy pout. After that, they just went back to snuggling.

"How do you feel today?" Midoriya asked, running a hand through Sho's hair.

"Better," he answered, more honestly than last time the question had been proposed.

"Good," kissing his cheek, the freckled boy smiled once more.

"Can... nevermind"

"No, no, what is it?"

"My, my stomach feels better... I'm hungry,"he finally admitted, rather hesitantly.

"Well Sho, baby, that's a good thing,"

"Oh," Almost defeated, he sighed and flopped his head back, resting it on his boyfriend's shoulder.

"So dramatic," he cooed. "C'mon, let's go get you some breakfast,"
