Fallen Angels

"How the fuck are you guys tonight!" Andy shouts into the mic
The crowd shouts back and he smiles. He shoots a look at Juliet and then tells the crowd the next song and they launch into Heart of Fire.
"...sing it!" he shouts and hangs the mic over the crowd
you can barely hear them over the speakers, but they scream the lyrics back at him.
"This heart of fire is burning proud! I am every dream you lost and never found!"
"This heart of fire, is soooo good now!" Andy sings, then he does his scream into the mic and I think all the girls in the crowd screamed louder.
Once the song was over they launched into an older song.... Children Surrender.
They played a few more songs, then Andy said.
"You guys rock! But I need to take a minute, so to sing you Fallen Angels, is Neveah Tanner!" Andy shouts
I shake my head no, but Juliet pushes me out there, and Ashley brings me to the mic. I stand there awkwardly for a minute before Ashley gets the crowd going for me.
"Let me hear you say it! Scream! Shout! Scream! Shout! Scream! Shout! We are the Fallen Angels!"
Then they begin playing and it's up to me, so I suck it up and take the mic in my hand and when its my cue, I do my best not to fuck up.
"We are the in between, cast down as sons of war
Struck to the earth like lightning, on this world we're torn

Then I turn the mic to the crowd so they can do the chorus for me, along with Ashley singing it. Then before I know it I have to sing again....

"Follow the mourning star, a light when darkness fell

A cry to find our home, our stories they will tell

And all alone in hell
We only want to be ourselves"


After that I pick and choose when I want to sing and when I want the crowd to help me out. But after the song is over, I get cheers and screams from the audience.
"So do you guys think she killed it?" Andy says taking his place back at the mic
Im given an answer by the crowd screaming and a few chanting my name.
"Alright well we have one more song for you guys tonight, and it's about leaving a legacy on this earth, and it's called In The End!"
As he tells the crowd the final song, I take my place next to Juliet who has a huge smile on her face.
"I hate all of you." I answer trying to keep a smile off my own face.
"you love us."
