Andy eventually helps me find my way back to campus. Now my problem is finding a way to end whatever this was without it being awkward.
"So, you good?" He asks awkwardly
"Yea, you?" I say about just as awkward
"Me? Yea, totally good."
"Did you wanna come watch movies?" I ask, then I give a small smile as I add, "I have every Batman ever made"
"BATMAN!!!!!!" He yells as he picks me up and runs the wrong direction
"You're going the wrong way!" I laugh
He turns around and runs toward the housing buildings, when we get to my room, he finally puts me down.
"I apologize in advance for the cluster of boxes, but I just got here today." I inform him
He gives me a puzzled look, but shrugs his shoulders as he steps into my dorm room. My roommate's side is bare and uninhabited, whereas mine has boxes and boxes.
"Need some help unpacking?" He offers,"I wouldn't mind."
I look around, and realize I have no choice but to take him up on his offer because my laptop is in one of the boxes.
"Okay, but it's only because I don't know what box has my laptop in it." I admit shyly
"You're not a very organized person are you?"
I shake my head, and we begin unpacking. After about ten minutes I find my laptop and inform him we don't have to keep unpacking, but he won't stop until he's finished removing my pillows and blankets and made the bed neatly. He notices my bear, and smiles. I blush, hoping he won't ask, and thankfully he doesn't. His phone vibrates often, but he ignores it, eventually the curiosity is killing me and I have to ask...
"Are you avoiding someone? Possibly your parents? or a girlfriend perhaps?"
"How do you know I have a girlfriend?" He asks suspiciously
"Andy, you're the lead singer of my favorite band, of course I know about Juliet."
"Oh, well no I'm not ignoring her, exactly"
"But you are ignoring her."
"Can we watch Batman now" he asks, while rubbing the back of his neck with his hand
"Sure"
So I leave it at that for now, as we watch countless hours of Batman.
