Chapter 3
Dear God! Jackie you are walking with the coolest guy to class, he helped you! Okay. Okay. Breathe. Talk to him! God stop being such a wimp! Just tell him thanks or something anything! I yelled in my mind.
"THANKS!" Aw shit. So much for a good impression. I bet he thinks I am a sick creep.
" No problem babe." Andrew smiled and looked ahead.
Wait. Hold on. Babe? Where the hell did that come from? Don't just look at him, smile back!
I attempted my best I-don't-secretly-have- a-crush-on-you smile.
His eyes glowed. They looked so.... so deep. I wanted to look at them forever.
We reached class way too soon.
Drew went to open the door with his right hand. And there it was.
The spiderweb tattoo.
Oh. My. God. No way! This could not be happening. I felt my face turn a new shade of red.
"Babe, you okay?" Andrew asked. He looked at me with his eyes. His beautiful eyes. And I felt for a second he actually cared.
I wanted to say yeah, but I dropped the words. Instead, I just nodded.
Again. He called me Babe. Twice.
"After you fair maiden." said Drew with a flirty smile.
Without thinking I smiled and giggled back.
But then the thought hit me. This was too good to be true. Andrew would never go after a girl like me. Not that there were any girls like me. This had to be a sick joke or prank. It might even been one of my damn dreams.
I stopped laughing and smiling. I walked into class as if nothing had happened.
