CHAPTER 8
(Alex's POV)
I want to stay with her. I was worried about her. She had been like this for a while. And it wasn't the first time she had done this either, but it was the scariest.
A nurse walked into the room. "We got her blood work back."
"And?"
"Well, young man are you a relative?"
"Errrr. No. I'm a friend."
"A boyfriend?"
"No! Just, just a close friend."
"I'm sorry but you can't see her blood work."
Dumb lady.
" I don't want to see her blood work! Can't you just tell me if she will be okay!?" I said gritting my teeth.
"She seems fine. But we would like to run more tests just to make sure. Is there a parent or guardian I can call?" said the agitated nurse.
"Yes call her father. " I pointed to his number in her record book."I knew her father, if he came, he wouldn't be here until very late. So I made up my mind I would stay with her until than.
"What about a mother?" asked the nurse.
"Um. Her mother is dead." I said confused.
The nurse looked up. " I see." Then she left the room.
I sat down in the chair beside Jackie's bed.
I really wanted to hold her hand. Just as I reached for it she started to cry and shake.
I jumped out of the chair, and snatched her hand. "Doctor! Help! I think she is having a seizure!" .
In seconds a doctor and two nurses rushed into the room. They pushed me out of they way.
I couldn't see her. I needed to. I wanted to.
"She is awake!" exclaimed a nurse.
