CHAPTER 10
I got to go home when my dad came. He didn't want to pay for more tests to be done. The doctor said I was most likely suffering from dehydration. He told me to stay home school for a week just to make sure it wasn't something else.
So I stayed at home. I was always bored. Heck I even missed school.
The doorbell rang. I ran to the door. I was a little disappointed when I saw Alex.
"Can I come in?" he asked and raised his stupid eyebrow.
I stepped to the side and let him come in.
"Have you been eating?"
I shrugged. I wasn't concerned about that. All I could think about was the kiss. It might not have been much of a kiss but that didn't matter to me.
"Jackie?"
"Hmm?"
"I said I brought your homework!"
"Gee thanks." I teased him.
Instead of laughing or giving me a playful nudge, Alex just stared.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"What were you going to tell me?"
I frowned. For some reason I didn't want to tell him."Nothing! Okay? It was nothing!"
"Come on Jacks just tell me!"
" Stop calling me that! Would you just get out?!"
Alex picked up his stuff and left. Without a second glance.
I held back tears. Why did this have to happen to me? I can't stand it anymore! Why did I have to have freaky dreams? Why was Andrew hitting on me? Why can't my life go back to the way it was before?
