CHAPTER 11
The next day, the doorbell rang.
"Go away Alex!" I shouted.
"It's Andrew."
I rushed over to the door. Tucking bits of my hair behind my ear as I did. I opened the door. "Sorry I thought you were someone else."
"Hey it's fine! I see you still have my flowers."
"Oh yeah." I blushed embarrassed for keeping them so long. Then a random thought occurred to me. " How do you know where I live?"
"Well we ride the same bus. "
Duh. "For a second there I thought you might be stalking me!" I laughed. I had become a lot more outgoing around him. And all it took was for me to pass out right in front of him.
Drew raised his hands up innocently.
"Do you want to come in?"
"Sure. I brought some stuff for our art project. All we need is a topic."
Andrew walked in.
"Where do you want to sit?" I asked.
"Anywhere. We will need somewhere to write notes or draw or whatever"
I walked over to the kitchen counter and pulled out a stool. " Does this work?"
"Yup." He picked up his stuff and set it on the counter.
We started brain storming. Eventually we decided to paint different landscapes and describe the colors and values we used in each one.
"Great. So do you want to start on it tomorrow?" Andrew asked.
"Yeah, if you don't mind." I needed something to do while I was away from school.
He leaned forward and kissed me on the cheek again.
"How is the park at 4:30?"
"Sssure!"
"Great, see you then babe." said Andrew as he left.

(Alex's POV)
I didn't trust him alone with her. But I could tell she was mad at me, so I left the hospital.
When I went to see her, she looked skinny. I could tell she didn't want me there. She got so bitchy after I asked her what she was going to tell me.
Today I was going to go to her house. I was going to tell her. I was going to Tell Jackie I loved her.
I saw Andrew at her house. She was talking and laughing with him. Why not just cut out my heart?
