Steve came rushing into Eddie's room looking panicked. Eddie was wearing only boxers and Steve was in his usual yellow sweater.

"Can we talk?" Steve asked.

"Yeah, totally," Eddie lowered the D&D book he has been reading and looked at Steve concerned.

"Um... something happened with my parents again." Steve's voice got shaky and his eyes started to water.

Eddie immediately dropped the book and opened his arms, beckoning Steve over for a hug. Steve immediately went over, sat on the lower half of Eddie's bed, and hugged him. Eddie's arms wrapped around his boyfriend as he pet his hair. He heard little whimpers come from his shoulder. He took this as a sign to pull Steve closer.

After awhile, Steve pulled away from the hug but didn't get off the bed. Snot was coming out of his nose, his eyes were red, and there were a great many tear streaks.

"Feel a bit better now that you've cried it out?" Eddie tilted his head and smiled softly at his boyfriend.

"Heh, yeah, a bit..." Steve smiled a bit. "Thank you, Eddie."

"Anytime, my Harrington." Eddie caressed Steve's cheek, making Steve smile even more.

Eddie went to open his window and they both heard some pitter-patter noises.

"Hey, it's raining!" Eddie exclaimed quietly.

He grabbed his walkman and headphones, putting it on full volume so they could both hear the music. He opened all the windows in his room so they could be immersed in the sounds of the rain. He lay down and hit play on his walkman. Steve heard some synth music

"Come here, Steve." Eddie opened his arms again , signalling being a big spoon.

Steve took his shirt and pants off before he lay down in Eddie's arms.
