"Vee, I need to tell you something" Vince pants barging into my office.

"Is it important?" I ask.
"Well- yeah" He replies walking inside and closing the door being him.

Thank you for at least closing the door.

"So last night, I was like- fucking drunk as fuck right? And I somehow stumbled into Mateo's office and-" He says quickly.

What?

He did what?

"And what the fuck did you say?" I interject.
"Vee, I- it just slipped" Vince reasons.

"Please don't tell me you- oh God, did you?" I ask.

Say no, say you didn't.

Say no. Say it fucking dammit.

"I don't remember but probably-" Vince defends himself.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I ask irritatedly.

Exactly why I don't trust people.

"I was thinking of telling him myself and you thought it was a good idea to just ramble it to him like that?!" I question standing up from my seat.

"I was drunk" He mumbles.
"That's not an excuse, is it?" I snap.

His fucking ass.

"I know, but just talk to him" He tries.
"Do you think this is a joke? Hm?" I ask.

Silence.

There's my answer.

"Why couldn't you just keep your mouth shut for once?" I say.

Silence.

"Vincent do you realise what you've done? I was planning to tell him this week- he found out by someone else. That makes me seem so much worser than I am" I exclaim.

"I'm sorry" He mumbles once again.

I scoff, unnecessarily loudly.

I am speeding trying to get to Mateo's office quickly.

It's night, all the city is lit up.

When I finally get there, I hurriedly get out of my car then jog as fast as I can into the building with my fucking heels, then take the elevator upstairs and now here I stand outside his office trying to build up the courage to knock.

I'm panting at this point.

"Vee, I know your outside" Mateo's voice calls out.

Oh fuck.

"You can come in" He says shortly after.

I hesitantly open his office doors before walking in without making eye contact with him.
