YOONGI'S POV
Later that evening we were debating about whether we should go shopping or not. We ended up staying in, packing up our bags for tomorrow.
I also made him some dumplings. Ever since he came out of that hospital I have been wanting to feed him his favorite food.
Cloud mindlessly played on the clothes piled up on the bed with her new squeaky toy and Jimin watched her with so much adulation in his eyes.
I jumped on the bed scooping Cloud in my arms. She lay on chest watching Jimin folding our clothes.
"So you make me work now?"
That's not Jimin. I know that tone.
"Hi Chim. you're early today."
"That's Cloud? She is glaring at me."
"She's just watching you Chim. Don't you want to touch her?"
He shook his head but I think he felt bad seeing my complaining face. So he came and sat on the bed and held Cloud casually.
"She is so small, I might squish her." he laughed.
"Be careful with her." I said, even though I knew he was going to be good with her.
He started playing with her squeaky toys in no time. If Cloud can help him gain some mental peace then I'll be glad. Then he won't be revolting all the time against everything.
After packing our bags I thought of memories I can talk about with Jimin.
"I'll be at your house for the first time." he said putting Cloud in her bed when she fell asleep.
"Oh right. My parents already know about you. I don't think they'll be very happy to meet you though."
"I don't really care. And I am not excited."
"I know you aren't." I wasn't paying much attention to him.
"Are you sure your parents didn't call Jimin's mom?"
Now I was looking him dead in the face.
"You think a lot don't you?"
"Well, now that they are talking again, it's a possibility. I don't know."
"If Jimin sees her, he either will not recognize her or he will remember things or he will dream about her. We can't predict anything and I really don't want to tell my parents anything about not calling her. They are talking after years and if Jimin knew that, he would be the happiest person alive. Moreover, Jimin was always soft about his mother, he was always worried about her. Sometimes, we don't know about love. His mother loved his father so much, that even habits seemed like an act of devotion to her. She forgot how scary it is when we get used to being hurt. So that day, when she was driving us to the hospital, her face showed no hurt, no concern. I think she realized that it was too late. Things already got out of her hand. She was only scared because she knows she loves Jimin too much."
"God, you are too good. Can't you even pretend to hate them?"
"It's not bad to understand the people you love, you know?"
"You and Jimin are the same. You both keep forgiving them for everything they do."
"Jimin needed them a lot, but then he understood that he can't get everything. So he looked around to see what he already has and tried to love them as much."
"There were times when his mother wouldn't notice when he wasn't home. I think she always knew you were there for him. And when Jimin told her about you, she was hurt. Not because he is dating you or something but because she felt burdened. She was sad she missed the competition and she was sad she wasn't there for Jimin."
