YOONGI'S POV

The sky above was clear and the stars filled the darkness with so much light. Jimin and I should go to the terrace when he gets a little better.

I could see my room from the swing. I saw the light turn on. Jimin was up, finally. I felt relieved but my anxiety still lingered and tugged at my chest.

Mom and dad saw me walk up to my room but didn't say anything.

Jimin was standing near his bed, rubbing his eyes.

"You up?" I asked as I went and hugged him and ran my fingers through his messy long hair. Just having him close to me is enough.

"Did I pass out?" he mumbled, pressing his face to my chest.

"Yeah."

"I must have scared you." he looked into my eyes with his worried eyes.

"It's okay, do you feel better?"

"A lot."

He kissed my cheek and said he was sorry.

"Do you want to look at the stars? It's a starry night."

"Let's meet your parents first, they must be worried as well."

That's just who he was. Caring and self less.

They sat up as we walked in. Cloud was resting on the sofa. I sat beside mom taking Cloud on my lap.

"Hi, I must have scared you all."

"Not at all darling, come here." Mom said sweetly.

"I couldn't say hi earlier, sorry. But it's nice to meet you." he said looking at his mom.

She was taken by surprise but she gave him a heartwarming smile.

"Hi darling. Haven't seen you in so long, come, sit here." he patted the space beside her.

Jimin went and sat next to her. It hurt to see him beside his mother, not knowing who she is. He would love to enjoy just one evening with his mother. And now he doesn't even remember who she is.

"How have you been?" she asked him

"Nice, really nice." he smiled looking down at his ring.

Mom and dad exchanged looks, smiling at each other.

"How are you?" Jimin asked, his eyes looked sleepy but he tried to talk as much as he could.

"I'm okay, just that i have been missing my son too much."

"He's not around?"

"I have not done well with him. He must be disappointed in me."

I tried to stay calm but I picked on my nails and bit my lips.

"I'm sure he isn't. I am sure he understands you."

"He does, he really does, but things really went out of hand. I don't think he will forgive me anymore."

"I don't know what you and your son went through, but if he really understands you and loves you, he'll never be mad at you."

"But I messed up, Jimin. I didn't listen to him and then things went out of hand."

"Well, you know, it's never too late. That's what Yoongi told me. Sometimes, we can't help some happenings, we just have to wait for things to get better. We unknowingly hurt our loved ones sometimes, but we don't really mean them do we? We can only hope."

"You're a grown up." his mother said, wiping his tears.

"It hurts me every time I see Yoongi. But the love he gives me, the warmth, the way he's been protecting me, that's what's keeping me going."
