I am so excited today. First I planned to go to Kulangaad Trek. Kulanggad is a hill fort in Maharashtra. It is the highest hill fort in the state, with the summit rising to an elevation of and about 4800 ft. The fort presents a very scenic view of the other peaks surrounding it. I clicked many photos of the fort. It took a whole day for me to complete the trek. But I must say it is worth the time. The view from the top of the hill is breathtaking.
In the evening I visited the Vihigaon waterfalls. As a matter of fact, it was quite refreshing. The waterfall is quite captivating and the 120 feet fall where the visitors can engage in rappelling for about 30 minutes. The hike stretch to the falls through the woods is also quite fascinating. It is a sight to behold when a rainbow forms during sunset. With my DSLR, I captured its beauty. And I ended my day by joining the campfire.
