Maya provoked Dev, and he hurt Sonakshi with his words. Later Sonakshi left the place with tears.

Sonakshi returned to her room and looked at herself in the mirror. Her cheeks were stained with tears. She wiped them and took her mobile to call her uncle Vijay.

'Hello...' Sonakshi spoke with a slightly trembling voice.

'Niha... Kya hua?' He asked, deeply worried.

'Chachu, saalon baad maine kuch mehsoos kiya.I don't even remember that they existed in my life.'

With hiccups, she spoke.

(Uncle, I have felt something after so many years. I don't even remember that they existed in my life.)

Aasoon...?'(Tears) He asked.

He got the reply as she sniffed.

'Kiske wajah se...?' (Who caused it?)

He didn't get any reply this time and immediately disconnected the call.

Vijay saw Sonakshi being numb to the pain all these years. She was very good at hiding her emotions, fear, sadness, or pain. Neither her smile nor her laugh was complete. She was scared to express herself. She suppressed her pain behind her smile. Still, she manages to bring smiles into many lives, bringing her some peace.

Well, people might assume that there is nothing wrong with her life. Everything she wished served in front of her. But no one knows how fucked up her life is!

Every word she spoke came from the pain she endured, the trauma faced, and the lessons she learned from her past.

Sonakshi wiped her tears after disconnecting the call and looked at the gift on the table. She was contemplating whether she would give that gift to Dev or not.

At last, she put that gift in her bag.

Guilt was eating up Dev as he saw Sonakshi leave the place, but he was too stubborn to admit this. Anurag was surprised by Dev's behavior. He knew Dev had anger issues but also knew how to control himself in public. Dev has his ways of dealing with it but never lashes out at someone.

"Dev yeh hua tumhe? Tumne realize kiya ki tumne kya kaha? Niha ki kya galti thi ki tumne uspe aise chillaya?"

(Dev, what's happened to you? Do you even realize that what you did was wrong? What did Niha do that you were angry with her for?)

Anurag enquired Dev.

Dev was about to reply, but Maya interrupted him.

"Of course Niha ne toh sab kuch kiya Anurag. Woh ladki Dev ko aur taunt kar rahi hain ki woh Dev se better hain."

(Of course, it's Niha behind everything, Anurag. She was taunting that she was better than Dev)

Maya accused Sonakshi. Anurag scoffed at her.

"Just shut up, Maya. Tum Niha se jealous ho ki Dev uske saath comfortable hain. Waise bhi Niha ne Dev ko taunt nahi kiya. In fact, woh kal Dev ke liye birthday bahut excited thi, ki mujhe uske birthday gift ke liye pareshaan karke rakhi hain."

(Just shut up, Maya. You're jealous of Niha that Dev was comfortable around her. By the way, Niha didn't taunt Dev. She was so excited about tomorrow's Dev's birthday that she annoyed me a lot regarding his gift.)

He bites his tongue at the end. Maya scowled and left them.

Anurag patted Dev's shoulder and asked," Ab batao tum Niha se gussa kyun hain?"(Now tell me, why you're angry with Niha?)
