The wall

Silence engulfed the ship as the small knife dropped to the ground, not being able to hit its target. Luffy let his brother's heads rise and their eyes immediately snapped to him. "Who threw that knife."

Whitebeard could be seen calm and collected but his eyes said differently. They were raging. No one answered. Luffy merely yawned and took a small sip of his juice. "Mm, this is good!" Ace hit his younger brother on the head with his fist, taking a deep breath in.

"THE HECK WAS THAT LUFFY?!" Ace shouted. It seemed to go through one ear and then out the other. Luffy shrugged and rubbed the bump on his head with an irritated expression. "Why'd you hit me Ace! It hurts!!"

Sabo recovered from his shock and picked up the abandoned dagger on the ground. It seemed to have a vial of glowing green liquid inside it. Most likely the moment the dagger pierced the skin, the mysterious substance was to be released as well. "Poison, high quality as well." Sabo looked up and saw Thatch. Thatch kneeled down next to the blond and poked the vial. "I deem you trustworthy," Sabo said and looked to his brothers who nodded in agreement. Thatch smiled softly and glanced at Whitebeard. They had seen this type of poison only once, and only a very long time ago.

"Luffy?" Luffy stopped complaining to Ace and his eyes met Marco's. "Could you tell us why you pointed to the wall?" Ace crossed his arms over his chest. Luffy had even more to explain now. The straw hatted boy just glared at the wall and then scowled. "It just seems wrong, just wrong." Marco lifted an eyebrow at this.

"I'm tired!" Ace declared and Sabo quickly caught on.

"Yes, this experience was quite tiring, would you mind if we excused ourselves?" Whitebeard squinted before smiling.

"Go ahead." The two older brothers dragged Luffy out of the door, just as whispers erupted behind them. It was a shock that huge amount of people could keep quiet for so long. Sabo forced a smile on his face as he closed the doors. The doors shut with a final creak.

Ace and Sabo immediately grabbed Luffy by the hem of his shirt and dragged him down the stairs. He was made of rubber after all and couldn't feel a thing, although Luffy still complained the whole way. "Is this our room Sabo?" asked Ace as he pointed to a door and Sabo nodded. Ace opened the door and they both threw Luffy on the bed in the middle. "Ouch! You guys don't need to be so rough! I saw a cake on the table, it looked so good," Luffy mumbled, a bit of drool coming out of the corner of his mouth.

Ace scowled and Sabo let his hat shadow over his eyes. "H-huh? A-ace...S-sabo? What's the matter?" shivered Luffy. He already felt the tension, ALL of his instincts were screaming at him to get out of there. Too late.

Marco was just passing the corridor to get a very much needed cup of coffee. Whitebeard had been concerned for the boys and decided to call a commander meeting. This didn't disrupt the usual schedule for the crew and soon everything was back to normal. Yes, normal. After a knife with poison was thrown toward 3 children they had met not even a week ago. Marco sighed as he passed the room the three brothers resided in. It wouldn't hurt to take just a small peek inside their room, just to see if they were okay.

Marco regretted it immediately. The pillows and blankets were on the floor everywhere, the desk was upside down and the ink was splattered everywhere, staining the wooden boards a dark black. The three brothers were currently racing around the room and a normal person would have thought the boys were just messing around. Playing. Yet Marco knew what was going on. Luffy had multiple bumps on his head and tears were pouring down his face. Ace and Sabo were both chasing him with raised fists and demanding answers, asking questions. Poor Luffy didn't seem to have the answer to any of the questions his brothers asked. He was punished with a bump on his head.

Marco slowly closed the door and walked away. It was better like this, he would pray he would see the straw hatted boy tomorrow.

Ace scowled as he sat on the mattress of the bed in the middle. Their room was an utter mess. No excuses were made. Luffy sat right beside Ace, rubbing his bumps and muttering something under his breath. Sabo was fixing his hat and sat opposite Ace. Silence.

"Answer the questions, you worried us a lot you know..." mumbled Ace, looking the other direction, a hint of blush on his face. Luffy's eyes widened in surprise. He knew Ace cared for him but he had rarely heard such affectionate words coming from his brother. Sabo nodded before poking Luffy in the chest.

"You know something we don't know and we don't keep secrets from each other!" the blond said and smiled. Luffy sighed and fiddled with his fingers. "The man with the bushy hair just seems wrong and so does the wall...THE WALL!!" Ace and Sabo jumped at their younger brother's outburst yet quickly recovered. "The wall? The wall you pointed to? What about it?" Sabo asked softly.

Luffy rubbed the sides of his head before clapping with a smile. "That's where the knife came from! This ship is nice but there are not very nice people in the ship," said Luffy simply as if that answered everything in this universe. Ace and Sabo blinked a few times. Ace sighed and closed his eyes. This was getting irritating.

"At least we know where the knife came from," said Sabo, knowing Ace would be angry at this answer.

"I knew we couldn't trust this crew," growled Ace but Luffy shook his head vigorously and made noises of denial.

"No no! The crew is on the ship! I said in the ship. Ace is so dumb!"

BONK

"I'm sorry," mumbled Luffy, his head was now a tower of red bumps. Ace had tick marks on his face now but managed to calm himself down. "In the ship?" whispered Sabo in confusion. He came to an answer.

"Ace this may seem weird and I find it creepy as well," began Sabo before he lowered his voice to a whisper. "I think there are people living in the walls." Ace cringed at the thought and glanced at the walls surrounding them. Luffy nodded excitedly before clapping and smiling widely. Ace glared at his younger brother before looking back to Sabo.

"You sure?"

"Positive," Sabo said.

Just as they heard knocking coming from behind them.

YAY. I mean, ehm. Dear reader, this chapter took too long to make. Also, I will be adding characters that came from my own mind and my own thoughts.
