Honestly don't know what I'm doing with this story anymore, help💀. In my opinion, my writing style has changed a little bit so I'm sorry if some of the characters seem OOC or the scenario itself seems a bit off-brand. Please enjoy☹️💗

Ace and Sabo wandered in circles around the forest until Ace plopped himself on the ground, frowning. "That idiot! Where is he?!"

Sabo sighed, his own brows furrowing with worry, both brothers brooding as they had passed the same tree around a million times. But suddenly they perked up, hearing fighting noises.

"Luffy."

If there was chaos, Luffy was bound to be somewhere nearby. The wild child was prone to either just having a magic power of summoning the most ridiculous situations or being in the exact wrong place at the exact wrong time. Both of those options were unfortunately extremely probable. Both brothers rushed towards the sounds, shoving past prickling branches of thorns and spitting out the occasional leaf. They emerged from the deep forest to find a weird moss-haired boy tumbling in the grass with their insane brother.

Luffy was laughing his head off as the moss-headed guy panicked. The reason? Luffy's rubbery limbs were currently wrapped around the moss-haired boy, effectively tying him up. Zoro had never seen anything like this, he was sure he was dreaming. They both rolled around in the grass like a rolling pin flattening dough, with Ace and Sabo watching them incredulously. Sabo sighed light-heartedly, just thankful they had found their brother. "Who's your friend Luffy?"

Luffy looked up, and his face broke out into a smile, all of them had to squint a little at how blinding it was. "He's my first crew member!" Luffy stated proudly, bouncing to his feet, pulling Zoro along with him.

"Get this weirdo off me!" Zoro said, pushing Luffy's face away to no avail.

Ace smirked as Sabo chuckled sheepishly, it was always a bit funny whenever someone else except them got caught up in Luffy's antics.

"Luffy, don't run off like that again, what if you got lost?" Sabo scolded, pinching Luffy's cheeks and stretching them while Luffy pouted.

"Sabo!!" Luffy whined as Sabo let go of his cheeks, the rubbery skin snapping back to normal while Zoro watched with horror.

"What's with his body?" Zoro asked Ace and Ace shrugged.

"The idiot ate a devil fruit, the rubber one to be exact," Ace said to the moss haired boy, who he was wary of but he didn't seem too dangerous...

"Devil fruit? Those are real?!" Zoro asked in disbelief before frowning, crossing his short arms over his chest.

"Hey, do you know where we can eat some grub?" Luffy asked, eyes shining as Zoro nodded.

"Sure I do, we can go back to my dojo," Zoro shrugged nonchalantly and Luffy beamed.

"Awesome! See, my first mate is the best!" he declared to his brothers while Zoro snapped at him.

"I'm not joining your crew!!"

Ace and Sabo decided to follow Luffy's new friend, but slowly grew more frustrated as Zoro led them up and down the island, they ended up by cliffs, boats that weren't theirs, random hat stores. They were currently standing in front of a lonely toilet stall made of wood in the forest, stinking horribly with flies surrounding it.

"This isn't right..." Zoro grumbled, scratching the back of his head, brows furrowed in confusion.

"Do you even live here or not?!" Sabo asked incredulously while Zoro frowned.

"I've lived here my whole life."

"Then why is your sense of direction so bad?!" Ace shouted, shocked at how one child who was already Luffy's age and at least a few years older couldn't coordinate himself on an island he was born on!

"Shishishi! Zoro can't navigate!" Luffy giggled while Zoro glared at him.

"Zoro? Who are these people?" a new voice asked, emerging from the forest and cringing at the horrid smell from the wooden bathroom stall. It was a girl with short raven hair, a plain white shirt and brown shorts, carrying a white katana, sheathed and tied to her hip.

"Kuina," Zoro scowled, turning to the girl. "Let's spar! I'll definitely win this time!"

"Please, the last 347 times, you lost miserably. It won't be any different this time," Kuina huffed with a teasing smile before Luffy popped up in front of her.

"Katana lady, could you tell us where Zoro's dojo is? We got lost and I'm hungry!" Luffy declared while Kuina laughed.

"Zoro got lost again?!"

"Shut up!!"

Kuina kindly led them to the dojo, talking with Sabo and Ace about it while Zoro and Luffy tackled each other up ahead on their way to the dojo.

The dojo was plain but many students trained on wooden dummies vigorously, Sabo hummed with an impressed look, glancing around the place with awe while Ace crossed his arms over his chest, freckled nose scrunching.

'Bet I could beat all of them,' he thought idly to himself while Luffy bounced to the entrance, sliding the door open.

"Food!!" he said excitedly, his stomach rumbling before Kuina gasped.

Koushiro, Kuina's father and the Sensei at this dojo was ready to unsheathe his blade in a battle stance, Izo loading his gun.

"What's going on?!"
