A Four Letter Word

A four letter word,impossible to describe
Yet rather unfortunately it has taken over our lives
We see in the world today
Actions and images of hate
People's hearts have turned cold
The reason why no one knows
Insecurity,fear and uncertainty is all there is
And lets not forget the popular injustice
I guess harm is caused by harboured pain
And insecurities people find hard to face
The innocent are suffering
And evil is prospering
We keep preaching love
But hope is all that we really have
And maybe one day
Things will change
Love will prosper
And hate and evil will fade
But I guess for now we're trapped in this terror
Until someone decides to speak up and end this horror
