I never expected love to be so burdensome,lonely and depressing
I guess I'd seen the signs but I'd never really paid attention
My heart glows with undying love for him
But he's never paid heed to it
She's his dream
His world
He only has eyes for her
My heart cries out to him
For him to at least notice me
His ears are deaf to my cries
I'm beginning to give up as the days go by
He's never going to love me as much as he loves her
She owns his heart
The one I so desperately yearn to have
