Just like poetry or writing music
Accepting that the lines and dots that seem so imperfect
Come together together to form a beautiful mosaic
It's the light that shines within you when everything seems so dark
It's staying true to yourself and knowing that you are enough
It's putting yourself first
Knowing what you're worth
It's standing up for what you believe in and all the people you love
It's achieving and aiming for greater things but being grateful for what you already have
It's not just being happy when everyone's around but also when you're alone
It's that kind of inner peace that just flows through your soul
It's the ability to let go of someone when their chapter in the story of your life has ended
And knowing that all your flaws are oh so, imperfectly perfect
But above all
It's knowing that others don't define you
You define yourself
