Going back to work isn't the issue, it's my child

Going back to work isn't the issue, it's my child. I don't want to leave her with anyone else. My business needs me, and I need it. I'm able to bring her with me, but I don't want her to be uncomfortable.

Although she's a two month old, she has feelings too. And she can't express them right now without crying. I don't want to disturb any of my workers, they work really hard.

"So are we dropping her at Mamas or are you taking her with you?" It's time for the both of us to leave, and I have to make a decision. I wouldn't even give Bey an option to take her.

My baby will not sit in a room full of sweaty people fighting. Ew. I don't even sit in there when I have to go with her. It's unsanitary.

"I'll take her."

"Baby you know it's okay for her to go with others, right?"

"I know. Bye, I love you."

I grabbed the car seat and she took it from my hands. We walked to my car and I watched her attach the car seat to the actual seat. My paranoia is high. The way the carseat could move was haunting me. So I bought one that could connect to the car so it wouldn't slide or anything.

We kissed each other goodbye and I made my way to my building. Owning my own building at 24 is the greatest thing i've ever done. I've worked so hard for this and have no regrets of anything i've had to do for it. Although some things aren't pleasing in my eyes.

As soon as I was able to claim my own, I hired my best friend. She was working a not so good job before and I didn't like how hard she worked for so little pay. I was 20 when this happened.

Her hard work and dedication really pays off. I love the way she puts her all into my business as well as I do. She's my number one supporter in anything I do. I'll always make sure she's at the top, good.

"Hi boo. How are you?" She opened my car door to greet me. I was given a peppermint tea and a ham and cheese croissant. Every morning I come to work she has something for me. Even though I don't ask for it.

"I'm good thank you. Good morning." I pecked her cheek before opening the back door.

"You brought my baby!" Lauren gasped with her dramatics. She fumbled with her purse and pulled out sanitizer. After cleaning her hands, she detached the seat and followed me into the building.

Workers were moving around quickly as I scanned the room. One all white room full of different things. I love it. My smile was wide as I was greeted by some.

"Welcome back Mrs.Knowles."

"Thank you." I walked to the back and sat everything down. My purse, phone, food, and drink. Lauren was right on my tail with my baby girl. I moved quickly to the bathroom to wash my hands before preparing to pick her up.

She was awake now and looking at the darkness of her fluffy blanket. I took it from over her completely and smiled at her. Her little face was scrunched from the sudden show of light. It's really bright in here.
