Before you read I will warn you. Take this with a grain of salt, everything might not be 100% accurate it's been a while since I've watch the movies. It shouldn't be too bad though, continue.
Your Point of View
You quietly watched as the people were gathered outside. You cursed your cowardice as you yearned to tell him how you felt. You sighed as you kept yourself hidden behind a curtain, watching from a safe distance. A smile smile lit your face as you watched your brother leave a chaste kiss on his love before she left, for good. Just as your love would. You saw him looking down at his shoes, his fringe delicately framing his face. You wanted oh so much to run to him, to tell him how you felt. To maybe go with him.
To be honest, you never really felt like you belonged. The only people you ever spoke to was to your brother Caspian and his professor. You were painfully shy, but when you were around Edmund you felt so alive, his smug grin setting your heart a flame. Your heart ached as you considered running to him. To hold him in your arms and never let go. He was leaving, you would probably never see him again. The next you looked at the strange tree portal only Lucy was left, her gaze set on the lion. She made her way to the entrance of her world. You gripped the handkerchief you held and decided to take a chance.
"Lucy!" You yelled as you ran from your hiding place to the young girl. Her short hair whipped to the side as she faced you. A crimson blush dusted your cheeks as you nervously stuttered. "C...could you give this to your brother Edmund, please." You said handing her the faded honey colored fabric. It was your favorite handkerchief, it was obvious by the way it was so worn. A bright smile lit her face as she took it from you.
"Of course." She said.
"Thank you." You said gratefully. You watched as she walked through the portal, never to be seen again.
You were filled with indecision. Should you stay or should you go? (Should I stay or should I go ;)
You sighed as you walked from the trunk and heard as the portal closed.
You were a coward.*Time Skip*
You watched as your brother fenced with his crew mate. Caspian winning the duel and laughing in victory. You dug your teeth into your apple, savoring the taste. You stood there idly not being of any use. You looked up as you felt an arm wrapping around your shoulder.
"Ahh, doesn't the sea air just smell divine this fine day." Your brother said trying to make conversation. You were even more reserved since that fateful day.
"Sure." You said. You had only agreed to sail with him because you really had no where else to go. You heard a distant splash and you looked down over into the sea. "Caspian! There's someone in the water!" You panicked. His brow furrowed as he ordered his crew to help them into the ship. You stood there useless trying to find a way to help. You decided you would get rooms ready as they would need to stay somewhere. As you made some beds you heard laugher outside. You then heard a familiar voice. You peeked carefully out the door as your eyes widened in shock. You nearly dropped the blankets you were holding as you stood there. It was Edmund. You also noticed his sister and some sort of unpleasant fellow. Was this some form of a second chance? Your heart started pounding and butterflies were breeding in your stomach. You decided to play it cool and normally stroll over to Caspian and tell them the beds were ready. Hopefully to save your nervousness he forgot about you and he wouldn't recognize you. You walked over to Caspian and nudged his shoulder to get his attention.
"The beds are ready." You said quietly hoping he would repeat your words in his louder voice.
"Oh, this is my sis-" He was interrupted by you stomping on his foot. He fake coughed. "Oh, your beds are ready. The trio nodded. Well the two siblings nodded while the blond one just scowled, how rude.
As they followed you to their bedrooms, you heard them whispering to each other.
"Here you go." You said gesturing toward their rooms. Lucy nodded and thanked you entering her room. The blond guy just shrugged and went to his. Tears threatened to stream down your cheeks as your lost love made his way to his room.
A small beam of hope filled your heart when he stopped before opening the door. He turned to you with furrowed brows. (Retreat! Fluff ahead!)"Do I know you, you seem awfully familiar?" He ask walking toward you.
"Um... maybe you do." You said trying to stay cool. "The name (Y/N) strike a bell?" You asked hopefully.
His eyes lit up and you breathed sharply in surprised when his strong arms wrapped around you. You stood there still as his face was buried in your neck. You tried your best to hug him back without making it awkward. Your eyes started to leak as warmth spread throughout your body. You two parts and his lips formed a soft smile.
"Hey, don't cry." He said. You really could see what he was doing as tears blurred your vision. You felt a silk cloth dab at your face as you realized what that silk was. You sniffed taking the fabric from him. It was the honey colored colored handkerchief you had Lucy give him.
"Wow, you kept this." You said chuckling.
"Yeah, it was the only thing I had left of you. I didn't know, I would've staye-" You felt a sense of bravery as you cut him off pressing your lips against his, having to stand on your tippy toes. You then spoke.
"Hey, it doesn't matter. Now you're mine." And you intended to keep it that way. This time you were definitely coming back with him. He was finally yours.Wow I am so sorry. This was requested a month ago I'm an awful person.
