!DEATH WARNING!
!ANGST WARNING!

Gregory placed the Monty Mystery Mix into the trash compactor and stood next to the button. Nervous sweat dropped down his head as he awaited to hear Chica's rumbling footsteps. Freddy stood next to him, still oblivious about the plan.

"What are we doing here again?" Freddy questioned. Gregory didn't dare look up at him.

"We... uh... we're giving Chica the mystery mix." Gregory struggled to think of an explanation. He wasn't a very great liar in times of stress.

"Then why is it in the trash compactor? We are not going to, say, destroy Chica, are we?" Freddy asked nervously. He already knew the answer.

"I... Freddy, as much as I don't wanna, I... kinda have to. It-"

"Gregory, that is not an acceptable solution! She is my friend, she cannot be destroyed!" Freddy argued.

"She been tryna kill me all night! She deserves it at this point!" The young boy retorted.

"You... do not understand. It is not her choice." The bear's voice became noticeably softer as he looked to the floor.

"Um, what do you mean?" Gregory looked up at him, a bit confused. Freddy sighed, looking into the boy's brown eyes.

"As I said earlier, I believe I know who is doing this. Chica, Roxanne, even Montgomery would never purposefully attempt to harm a child, or anyone for that matter. When... well..." Freddy inhaled deeply, tears forming in his eyes again.

"You remember me telling you about... Bonnie... right?" Gregory nodded, wondering how Bonnie had anything to do with this. "...I... I found him. Right before he shut off."

There he laid, his mangled wires and parts sparking as they rested on the tile. One of his eyes had been torn out, along with the wrist and hand of his left arm. The other eye flickered with a red light, but redder than his usual eyes were. His bowling uniform was very torn, and lots of dust was on it, as if he had been there for years. His ears were halfway broken, the paint chipping.  There were random dents and holes in his body, it was a surprise he wasn't shut off already.

Freddy stood there, looming over him. Tears slid down his face smoothly.

"Bonnie...?" He managed. Bonnie struggled to turn his head to look up at him.

"Hey, superstar." He smiled a broken smile, almost as broken as Freddy's "heart" right then. "Is it bad?" His voice cracked a bit as his sad, beautiful magenta eyes stared into Freddy's blue ones. Freddy fell to his knees, his legs giving in.

"Bonnie, what happened?" He spoke calmly, trying to be strong, but he could tell Bonnie saw right through it.

"I ran into a... friend." Freddy knew immediately he was talking about Monty and his eyes flashed a red as he tried to keep his cool. "No, teddy bear, stay calm... it wasn't his fault..." The bear softened at the nickname, but remained angry.

"What do you mean it was not his fault? It had to be, he... he did THIS to you, I... I am so sorry Bonnie, I should have... I COULD have prevented this, I am so, so sorry-"

"Hey, hey..." Bonnie reached his hand up to Freddy's cheek and cupped it. He stroked it with his thumb and Freddy put his hand on top of Bonnie's. "Freddy, you couldn't have done anything. You trust me, right?"

"Of course I trust you..."

"Good. Then trust me when I say it wasn't his fault. Tell me, love, what color are Monty's eyes?" Freddy felt himself heat up at the name, but quickly shook it off.

"Um... red...?" Freddy told him, but it sounded more like a question. (A/N istg he's the equivalent of a puppy dog it's so cute lmfao)

"Good job. His eyes are RED. Keep that in mind." Freddy nodded, following his instructions. "When he attacked me, his eyes were PURPLE." Freddy's eyes widened.

"But Chica's eyes are purple...?"

"No! No-" Bonnie laughed weakly. "He didn't take Chica's eyes. Monty's eyes were GLOWING purple. He was being controlled. Do you remember the story of the company's founder, William Afton?"

Freddy thought a bit then nodded. "He had purple eyes. I think he was controlling Monty." Bonnie spoke slowly so Freddy could understand. When he gave a confused look, Bonnie continued. "What I'm saying is, he came back as a ghost or something and controlled him. I know it sounds crazy, but who else would it be? I'm not sure why he went after me, but I'm POSITIVE he did it."

Freddy leaned and took Bonnie's other hand in his own.

"My time's almost up, Freddy." Bonnie gave that same, broken smile to him. "You need to defeat him, okay, love? For me. Please?" Bonnie's grip on Freddy's hand tightened. Freddy felt more tears fall down his face as he nodded.

Bonnie hesitated before slowly leaning up. He pulled Freddy's face closer to his. He stopped as soon as he felt Freddy's breath on him. He then leaned a little more, closing his eyes as their lips connected.

Freddy widened his eyes in surprise. Bonnie kissed him weakly, as Freddy started to kiss back for everything, closing his eyes in the process. For all those times Bonnie would make him happy, for all the times they were together, for truly everything.

He felt Bonnie hum into the kiss and Freddy couldn't have been happier. But that happiness was short lasted.

After a few seconds, Freddy stopped before pulling away, allowing them both to breathe. For a minute they just stared into each other's eyes, mesmerized. Until Bonnie couldn't sit up any longer and fell back. Luckily Freddy caught his head before he hit it.

"Heh..." Bonnie chuckled, coughing a bit. "I love you..." He spoke, using the last of his power before shutting down.

Forever.
