"I don't understand." Bonnie whined.
"What do you not understand?" Freddy scooted closer to him, trying to get a good glance at what he was looking at.
"How do people even fit into those things?" Bonnie exclaimed, pointing to a family getting into a red car.
Freddy gave a chuckle, finding Bonnie childish whining endearing. His eyes wander away from the now-moving vehicle and to Bonnie's purple fur.
"Well, they are way smaller than us in comparison. It would only make sense that they are able to. And it is made for them to fit into." He thoroughly explained, not taking his eyes off of Bonnie.
"Freddy?" Bonnie asked, looking up at him.
"Hm?"
"I love you."
Bonnie leaned his head onto the flustered Freddy and closed his eyes in relaxation. Freddy froze for a second before also leaning his head on his lover.
"I love you, too, Bonnie." He replied in a whisper, softly pecking the top of the bunny's head.
Bonnie giggled before standing up, reaching his hand down to pull Freddy up with him.
"Now come on, Fredbear, we got some work to do." Bonnie instructed in a false stern voice.
"Bonnibel, it's closing time." Freddy rolled his eyes, standing up.
"Well, in that case..." the tone in Bonnie's voice gave Freddy a chill down his back. "Let's go somewhere more... private..."
He grabbed Freddy by the wrist and practically dragged him to his greenroom.
"I love you, my teddy bear~" Bonnie whispered into Freddy's ear.
"I love you too, my little bunny~" The bear flirted back, cupping Bonnie left cheek. "I love you too..." he repeated. "I never want to let you go."
"Freddy..." The rabbit looked into his sky blue eyes with tears in his own.
"Hm?"
"You need to let go."
"What- what do you mean? I'm not hurting you, am I? Gosh, I am so sorry-" he quickly removed his hand from the bunny's face.
"No, Freddy... you need to move on."
Freddy froze in shock. 'Move on?' Why would he want to 'move on', everything was finally perfect.
"B-Bonnie, I do not-"
"This," Bonnie's motioned around the room.. "This isn't real. It's some kind of sick delusion you're putting yourself through. You need to let go." Bonnie said, in a sterner voice.
Freddy stayed silent. He watched as the room and all of their surroundings faded into an obsidian black.
No, no, no, this couldn’t be happening...
Bonnie just smiled. He gently placed his hands on Freddy's cheeks and leaned in. Their lips connected, brightening the room up for just a moment.
As they tore apart, Bonnie himself started to fade away.
"No, no, no, no, no, Bonnie- don't go, I-I just got you back, I-"
"I'm sorry, Freddy, I..." his head moved around, as if he was searching for something. "Look, my time's almost up. You need to let go, okay?"
"B-but I-I-I don't know if I can-" his eyes fell to the ground, not daring to look up at the bunny.
"Freddy, look at me." He grabbed Freddy by the chin and lifted his head up. "You need to forget about me. Move on. You can't keep having the memory of me pulling you back. Please. For me." As soon as he said that, what remained of him blew away to dust, leaving Freddy to fall to his knees, letting sobs consume him.
