"Wake up."
"Wake up."
"WAKE UP!"
Gregory felt a sharp pain to the head. His voice was hoarse as he groaned. He tried to open his eyes; all he saw was darkness. Darkness with no source of light.
He slowly regained his sense of touch, and felt a soft material covering his eyes. It was suddenly yanked off, startling the young boy. He yelped out in fear.
The room was spinning. Where was he? How did he get there? Why was he here?
He blinked away the blurriness, only to be even more shocked. There was a rabbit; or at least he thought it was a rabbit. It didn't look like Vanny, though- this wasn't a costume.
The corpse-like figure seemed to be rotting from the inside out. Rust and mold spread throughout it's body. To say it was misshapen was an understatement. It was incredibly old, too. Gregory gagged at the sight of it, seeming to alarm the figure.
"Gregory," It smirked in a British accent. "You're awake."
"H-how do you know my name?" The boy stammered.
"I know a lot of things." The figure came closer, its rumbling footsteps causing the ground to tremble. Perhaps it was trembling in fear.
"I also know one very important thing, child."
"Wh-what is it?" His voice shook as he stammered. Something gave off an evil vibe about this rabbit.
"You are going to give me what I want, no matter the cost."
He thought it was just a nightmare. He thought he'd wake up at any moment and Freddy would be wrapping his arms around him in a hug. But he wouldn't. And perhaps that was the scariest thing of it all.
