"Wait. Holy shit. I know a place that can help us." Eddie said as he read a newspaper.

"Check this out. The War Zone." He slammed the newspaper down onto the table and we all surrounded him. "I've been there once. It's huge. They got everything you need for, uh.. well, killing things, basically." Why Eddie Munson went to a place for killing things? I don't think I want to know.

"You think fake Rambo has enough guns there?" Robin spoke. "Is that a grenade? I mean, how is any of this legal?" She stared at the newspaper in shock.

"Well, lucky for us it is, so.. This.. This place is just far enough outside of Hawkins. As long as we steer clear of the main roads, we oughta be able to avoid cops and, uh, angry hicks."

"If we're trying to avoid angry hicks, maybe we shouldn't go to some store called the War Zone."

"Normally, I'd agree but we need the weapons. So, I think it's worth the risk."

"Me too."

"A place like this will have everything we need. Guns, knives, all sorts of weapons." I add.

"But is it worth the time? It'll take all day to bike there and back."

"Who said anything about bikes?"

"You got some car we don't know about?" Steve asked.

"It's not exactly a car, Steve." Eddie stood up to look at him. "And it's not exactly mine, but, uh.. it'll do." He smiled.

"Are we about to commit yet another crime?" I asked and Eddie shrugged at me before turning to look at Max.

"Hey, Red, uh, you got a ski mask or a bandanna, something like that?" Eddie asked her.

She raised her eyebrows as she thought about it before walking to her room to grab something. She came back with her Michael Myers mask from Halloween a few years ago. I can remember the boys telling about it.

Eddie threw on the mask and we all followed him as he sneaked us across the neighborhood.

As we ducked behind Max's trailer, he signaled for us to follow him as he started started to run towards a couple's camper van.

Eddie opened a window to the van and climbed through, landing on a couch.

Steve helped me get through the window as Eddie pulled off his mask.

"That was suffocating."

"Was kinda cute." I said to him as we ran to the front of the van.

"Go! Come on!" I heard Steve usher the others.

I watched as Eddie locked the door to the van and sat in the drivers seat. He took out a pair of pliers and put them in his mouth as he held several wires.

He started to cut a few of the wires and began to hot-wire the van.

"Where'd you learn how to do this?" Steve asked.

"Well, when the other dads were teaching their kids how to fish or play ball, my old man was teaching me how to hot-wire. Now, I swore to myself I wouldn't wind up like he did, but now I'm wanted for murder, and soon, grand theft auto. So uh, I'm really living up to that Munson name."

"Seems like shitty dads are pretty common in Hawkins." I said to him.

Robin ran up to us. "Eddie, I'm not sure I love the idea of you driving."

"Oh, I'm just starting this sucker. Harrington's got her. Don't you, big boy?" He leaned in closer to Steve's face and he shot me a look of confusion.

"Control your boyfriend." He whispered to me and I smiled at him.
