Chapter 10: One Last Time.

It was around 9 AM as the sun rose into the sky of Palmont City.

Cole was the first one to wake up as he saw that Mia was sleeping ontop of him, that made him blush as he pulled her closer to him and kissed her forehead.

That made her smile in her sleep, as she rose up from the bed and opened her eyes, smiling at Cole.

"Morning boo." Mia said.

"Morning girl, how'd you sleep last night?" Cole asked.

"I slept great, it's always great sleeping with you." Mia said, and Cole chuckled.

"Well, I honestly do not know what to do now, I'm the new ruler of Palmont City now, and I barely have anything I can do." Cole said.

"Well, there many things you can do. For example, you've gotta defend your turf from other crews. Since you pretty much own all of Palmont now." Mia said.

"True that." Cole said, and he got up from the bed and walked over to the fridge to get something to eat and drink, Mia also did the same and they walked over to the wardrobe to get some clothes on. Afterwards, Cole walked over to his GTR and got inside of it, driving out of the saheouse.

Just then, Cole received a voicemail fron Nikki.

"Hey Cole, I forgot to mention that a new ruler of Palmont are supposed to hold some big races. Costs quite alot of money to organize. But every racer nearby will turn up, check it out. All the local drivers are expecting you to go through with this."

"Some new Races? Huh, let me check em out on my radar." Cole said.

When he looked onto the map from his phone, he saw eight different events, and all of them were Race Wars events.

The first one was held in Downtown, the second one was held in Fortuna, the third one was held in Kempton, the fourth one was held in Silverton, the fifth one was held on the highways of Kempton, the sixth one was held in San Juan, the seventh one was held in Fortuna again, and the last one was held by the Safehouse, which the route seemed to go around all of Palmont.

"Wow, that last race is pretty big. And the cash reward for it is $1 Mill, but I'll take it." Cole said with a smile.

Cole then drove off to the first race war event in downtown. And about 19 other racers where there, their cars parked, and Cole decided to do the same as he parked his M3 next to the others.

After about 5 minutes, it was time for the race to start as all the drivers took their place at the starting line. Waiting for the flag to be waved.

"3, 2, 1, Go!" The flag girl yelled.

Cole got a great launch and got himself up into 17th place, he battled with the other drivers for the next 3 laps as he was slow but steadily making his way up to 1st place, one the last lap, Cole got into 1st place and held onto the lead until he reached the finish line. Declared as the winner.

Cole received 25.2k for winning.

"Well, that was a really fun race." Cole said, as he drove away from the race, he found that his friends where following him. He parked his car and got out as they did the same.

"What are you guys doing following me?" Cole asked.

"We found out that you were racing without us, so we decided to check out the scene." Yumi said.

"Yeah, what are these races about anyway?" Colin asked.

"Oh, I got a voicemail from Nikki saying that there was these races that I'm supposed to attend to now that I'm the ruler of Palmont." Cole said.
