"Fuck!" Gabriel swore as he shoved Eden out of the way of Ezeqeel's claws but he wasn't quick enough. Eden cried out in pain as a talon tore her skin. "Eden…"

Eden grit her teeth as fiery hot pain seared her arm. She gripped her arm tightly as blood ran from in-between her fingers.

"Eden!" The panicked cry of Aziraphale was heard from across the courtyard. "Watch out!" Gabriel and Eden looked up as Ezeqeel circled in the air and began to descend towards them.

"Eden we need to move now!" Gabriel said but Eden didn’t seem to hear him. She unsheathed her sword and before he could stop her, she charged and met Ezeqeel head on, Hellraiser at her side.

"No!" Gabriel cried as Eden and Ezeqeel clashed. Gabriel could barely see her in the blur of black fur and feathers. Gabriel lept into the fray, trapping Ezeqeel in a headlock. Brutus, Crowley, and Abraxas joined and were finally able to get the feathered demon off of her.

Ezeqeel was now bleeding heavily from the throat thanks to Hellraiser.

"Eden!" Aziraphale exclaimed as he rushed to Eden's side. Eden had a deep gash in her side.

"I-I'm fine….just a scratch…" Eden said through gritted teeth.

"Shit shit shit!" Crowley rasped at the wound in Eden's stomach. "Why does this keep happening?"

"I guess it's because I'm irresistible." Eden croaked despite the pain. Eden smiled as Gabriel joined them. "Hey…" she broke into a bout of coughing.

"Oh my god." Raguel fretted.  "That looks bad." Aziraphale didn't seem to hear him as he placed a hand tightly over the wound. Crowley and Gabriel sighed with relief as the wound was healed within seconds.

"Easy darling." Crowley said as he, Aziraphale and Gabriel helped Eden to her feet. "I'm okay. Now let's get outta here…" Eden sheathed her sword.

"What should we do about her?" Abraxas asked, pointing to Ezeqeel. Brutus and Hellraiser still had her pinned down.

"Just let her go." Eden said. "I'm sure she's gotten the message to fuck off."

As Ezeqeel fluttered away with a gurgling screech the group finally made their way towards the exit.

"I'll clean you up once we leave this dreadful place." Aziraphale said. The sight of his Little One covered in blood was too much to bear. Eden smiled weakly at her Papa.

Gabriel bent down and kissed the top of her head. "I see you still have the ring."

Eden glanced down blankly at the ring. "Heh. Never took it off. Although it's probably frozen to my hand thanks to the bloody cold." Gabriel started to chuckle, something that Eden always managed to make him do no matter what,  when suddenly Eden's legs felt numb. As they buckled beneath her, she realized how tired she was.

Gabriel flinched as he caught Eden in his arms. Her body was as cold as ice.
