Cassius flung Eden onto the ice like she was a ragdoll. The air was knocked out of her as she landed on the ice with a dull thud. She heard her family cry out for her followed by the sound of snarling and roaring. She caught the sight of Brutus and Hellraiser tussling with Cassius and Judas.
"You're coming with me." Hastur grinned down at her. "But before we go, I'm anxious to see a good fight. What about you Aamon?"
Aamon savored the fear scent that emanated from the girl. "Oh yes." Aamon grabbed Eden by her throat with a taloned paw. "I've waited a long time for this."
"LET HER GO!" Gabriel cried, swinging the rusty sword. Aamon roared in agony when the blade struck his flank.
As Eden fell onto the ice Gabriel stood in front of her protectively, brandishing the rusty blade. He wanted so desperately to see if she was okay but he couldn't afford to turn his back.
"Oh this just got more interesting." Hastur chuckled as he and Aamon prepared to strike the Archangel.
"Eden, come to me!" Aziraphale begged. If Eden moved now she could start crawling towards her parents and they could shut the TARDIS doors, cast a ward and keep her safe until this fight was over.
It took a lot of effort but Eden forced herself to her knees and began to crawl towards her parents who were waiting in the TARDIS.
Aamon was going to lunge at the Archangel but when he saw the Abomination begin to crawl away, he darted forward. Right at Eden.
"EDEN! NO!" Aziraphale and Crowley cried. They tried to get to her but Abraxas and Raguel held them back.
Brutus had clawed Cassius so deeply that the other Glabrezu finally backed off, bleeding heavily. Judas wasn't that much better thanks to Hellraiser. But once Brutus realized what was happening with Eden, Brutus rammed right into Aamon, his horns stabbing the demon clean through. The two demons fell on the ice and the impact caused the ice to break, Eden, Gabriel, Brutus, Hastur and Aamon fell through into the freezing cold water.
