Crowley glanced at his cellphone. The screen was cracked but at least he was able to send a quick text to Shadwell before the battery died, asking the old Sergeant to care for Eden's animals while….they were away…..
"Please…" Crowley whispered softly so he wouldn't disturb Aziraphale who kept drifting in and out of a fitful sleep. "Keep Eden safe and help us find a way to get out of here…."
Unbeknownst to Crowley, Archangel Gabriel had heard Crowley's prayer.
Gabriel rasped softly, "Eden, please….just hang in there….for us…for me…."
"I'll come for you Edie."
