People started gasping and jacks face was priceless. I zoomed up to his face and screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

His first instinct was to hug me which was normal for anyone when they get their dream car, but his second action caught me completely off guard....

He kissed me.

I guess after realization went through his head, he broke off the kiss, yet I still felt the tingly sensation of his lips on mind. I looked around and the kiss was definitely noticeable, Amanda's face was red and Grayson didn't look to happy either.

For the sack of the video I acted like nothing happened.

This was memories, for him, for his parents. I wasn't gonna ruin it because Jack was too drunk to understand that he kissed me... Maybe he thought I was Amanda...

After I ended the video I put the camcorder in my back pocket and rushed over to Grayson who was now walking away.

"GRAYSON!" I shouted to make him stop walking. He obviously was ignoring me so I caught up with him and grabbed his arm.

He instantly turned around with the angriest and saddest face expression ever.

"You should've told me before I... Gosh why couldn't you just tell me" he shouted.

"Tell you what?" I asked.

"That you were into him"

"Grayson I'm not into him"

"Well you were into that kiss" he said with the saddest tone of voice.

"That kiss came out of no where by my BEST FRIEND, if anything it was awkward."

"Whatever" he said walking to the kitchen.

We were in the living room while everyone was still outside admiring Jacks new black Honda Accord. I didn't want him to think I had feelings for someone when really I had feelings for.... Him.

I've tried to ignore my feelings for him once I realized I had them because I knew I would do something stupid to ruin what we had... If we even had something.

But I knew in this moment if I didn't speak up I would have lost my chance of admitting my feelings to him....

Here we go.

"I LIKE YOU" I shouted while squeezing my eyes shut, not wanting to see his reaction.

All I heard was the sound of shoes that were walking away...stop.

All I could hear was his rough yet soft voice escape his lips.

"What'd you say?"

I opened my eyes to face him, but to my surprise, he was already facing me. I walked up to him not breaking eye contact and repeated my words slowly. "I. Like. You" I said looking into his eyes.

I've always had commitment issues, or a fear of falling in love, so I always backed away, which in the long run ruins everything.

"YOU WHAT?!" I heard Jack shout out of nowhere. Grayson and I turned around to see Jacks face extremely red. Never in my life have I seen his face that shade before. He barged out of the house, slamming the door shut.

Although my usual response is to go after him, I wanted to stay with Grayson and only him.
