I woke up at 11am, normal for me on a weekend. I texted Jack happy birthday before doing anything else.

Let me rephrase that... I sent him a paragraph that ended with a "Happy Birthday Jack I Love You"

The party started at 8pm so I had more than enough time to get ready. First I went to my nail appointment I had at 1pm. It was the weekend so they were pretty busy, I made sure I planned ahead.

After showering I was out the door, then I got breakfast on my way there.

After the appointment it was around 2pm, I got some lunch and was back home like around 3. Omaha traffic was getting hectic. Traffic in general was busy in the eastern side of Nebraska.

When I got home, I took another shower because of how sweaty I was when I arrived. It was mid June and the sun was starting to kick in. As I was drying myself off I got a call from someone. I checked and it was

Jacks mom.

"Hello Mrs.Gilinsky" I said politely.

"Hi sweetheart um Jack was wondering if your coming early?"

"Yeah I'm about to get dressed now, I'll be over in like an hour and a half if traffic isn't bad" I joked. He lived down the street, what traffic was I going to get? I heard her laugh on the phone and let me tell you. Jack definitely inherited that laugh, but in a more male version of it.

I got dress [Pic Above], I did my makeup but kept it really simple. As I looked in the mirror I decided it would look best if I Bobby pinned my bangs to the sides of my head. I grabbed my bag and my drink I saved from Wendy's earlier, then was out the door.

As people started coming I was making sure everything was set. It was currently 7:54 and people started coming. Snacks were set, drinks were cooled and I knew at least one person would bring pot.

Jacks parents left but gave me the job of recording his reaction when he got his car. While I waited for the house to fill, I decided to enjoy a red cup of alcohol before the 'bartender' came.

As I was tilting the cup higher for the little bit that was left I heard the door ring. I opened the door and saw the two boys I begged to come earlier, and they're here!

"YESS!" I shouted while rushing to hug them.

"You seem to like us a little bit to much" Ethan joked.

"Your honestly the only people I LIKE to hang out with" I confessed.

"Makes sense, we are pretty rad" Grayson said.

"Who says rad anymore" I said grabbing their arms and taking then inside.

"Is there a bathroom here?" Ethan asked.

"Um yeah down the hall first door to your left" I told him. As Ethan went looking for the bathroom, Grayson I engaged into a conversation.

"You look really pretty tonight" he said over the music.

"You don't look so bad yourself" I said returning the complement. We continued to talk until someone interrupted us.

"BIRTHDAY BOY HERE!" Jack said wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I knew what he was doing, and I didn't like it; cockblocker.

"Happy birthday man" Grayson spoke before hiding behind his rep cup.

"Thanks, hey uh Ashlynn can you come help me with something?"

" what? I'm DJ I don't-"

"Please! I really need your help" he pleaded but his eyes were demanding.

"I'll be right back, don't move " I demanded before I  went off with Jack.

"YOU SAID YOU WOULD BE NICE!" I shouted at Jack. We were in his room and he was asking me why I invited him. I told him last week I would so I don't know why he was over reacting or why it bothered him in the first place.

"Me not talking to them is nice, because you know if I do then it won't be pretty" he said.

"It maybe your birthday but that doesn't give you the opportunity to be annoying and mean" I snapped.

"It kinda does" he said with a giant smirk plastered on his face.

"Then I will be too" I said walking to the door.

"But it's not you BIRTHDAY" he shouted as I walked out the room, making sure to slam the door.

"-AND I KNOW WHEN THAT HOTLINE BLING!" I say along to Hotline Bling- Drake with everyone else. I was currently dancing with Grayson while Holly was having some alone time with Ethan. From what I've seen Ethan is more laid back, Grayson is too but he let's loose time to time.

Ethan was definitely Hollys type. While Grayson was... Well mine.

I wrapped my arms around Grayson's neck and continued swaying to the music.
"IMMA GO GET A DRINK!" I shouted over the music. I walked to the bar and asked the 'bartender' for another drink.

The bartender was really just Sammy. He told Jack for his birthday gift he would help with the party.

"Can I get a lime-Rita"

"I will need to see your ID" he said
leaning on the counter to get closer to me.

"Half of these people aren't even 21"

"Still" he said with a smirk.

"I want another drink" I said dead in his face.

He smiled and handed me the drink I wanted.

I checked the time and it was 1am, Perfect time to give him his present. I texted Holly and told her to start going to the car.

It was down the street so that he wouldn't notice but also so she can drive down and I can catch his reaction.

I went up to the booth where my music was playing and unplugged my phone, it definitely got everyone's attention.

"ATTENTION EVERYONE! PLEASE MEET ME AND THE LOVELY BIRTHDAY BOY OUTSIDE IN 2 MINUTES!" I shouted.

Everyone started making their way outside while I started looking for Jack.

I scanned the area that was now empty and couldn't find him. I went down the hall and all I found was trash, ugh! The party wasn't even over, yet there's trash here that made it looked like we partied for 24 hours.

I went upstairs and in the corner of my eye I see two people eating each others faces.

"CHOP CHOP! YOUR HAVE SOME PRESENTS TO OPEN!" I said causing Jack and Amanda to break their make-out session.

I heard Amanda scoff while Jack came walking down the hallway rubbing his hands together.

I texted Holly and told her to start driving down the street.

"What did you get me" Jack whined impatiently.

"Just wait" I said smiling, I backed up once I saw Holly turn the corner. I got my camera ready and started recording.

People started gasping and jacks face was priceless. I zoomed up to his face and screamed HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

His first instinct was to hug me which was normal for anyone when they get their dream car, but his second action caught me completely off guard....
