It's prom season and everyone is going crazy, either they're planning on asking or expecting to be asked and it's kinda annoying.

I've only dated one guy out of my whole high school 'experience' and that was Grayson, and that didn't even last a month. Hundreds of girls are expecting Jack to ask them but personally Jack doesn't like the prom part, he just likes what happens after... If you know what I mean. As I started putting my books in my locker I noticed someone walk up to me but I didn't pay no mind to it.

"So are you not gonna say hi?" A guy voice asked.

"Oh hey?" I replied to... Sammy.

"Hi, so um proms coming up..."

"And I'm not going with you" I said closing my locker.

"Aww why?" He fake whined.

"Just get on with it" I said knowing that wasn't his real question.

"I kinda wanna ask Jessica" he said.

"Your point is?"

"Well I don't really talk to her as much and since you have dance with her today I was wondering if you could throw in something positive, tell her a little about me."

"Pick one. Because there's nothing positive about your life." I joked as I continued to walk to class. He was walking next to me, rushing to keep up with my fast pace. After awhile he gave up and left me to walk away, or so I thought...

"Ashlynn!" He shouted after me. I stopped in my tracks and turned around to face him.

"I'm gonna regret this" I mumbled to myself, "Fine!" I shouted back. I saw him get overly excited about me agreeing and decided to just laugh it off on my way to class...

Mission impossible, maybe....

"So proms coming up and I can't breathe, I only want one person to ask me and not only that but I need that person to ask me now so I can start looking for my dress" Holly started to ramble.

"Holly breath... Who do you what to ask you?"

She took a deep breath and finally said the name "Ethan"

"Awwwww"

"Shut up!"

"It's cute, you guys are cute"

"So I was thinking, since you have dance with him today, can you talk about me?You know say how pretty I am and stuff"

"So you want me to lie to him?" I joked.

"Shut up!"

"Okay I'll see if I can"

"Thank you!" She said and then walked the opposite direction to her class.

Mission impossible? Actually... No. Holly sweet, why wouldn't he want to take her?

Gym honestly was my worse class. There's nothing good about it. The only thing I can say is good is when they allow us to play basketball. We barley ever get to play and when we do it's always on random days. Today I decided not to dress for gym but little did I know, today was one of the few days that they allowed us to play basketball... And now I can't play. Fuck my life. I sat on the bench and saw as all the boys were getting shirtless since they were getting 'tired'. I mean, it's not like it was a bad sight but I mean they've only been playing for like 15 minutes.

Anyways, I watched as Jack made a couple shots and took a break to drink some Gatorade. He walked up to me since I was holding his bag and the Gatorade.

"Hey" he said out of breath.

"Tired?"

"Yup" he said bringing the bottle up to his lips. He literally had lines of sweat trailing down his face and chest, it was disgusting.

"Oh I totally forgot to ask you, but prom is coming up" he said after he finished drinking his drink. Honestly I really don't get how people enjoy Gatorade. It taste watery and people think it's healthy for athletes when it really isn't, it has so much sugar in it, it's the opposite of healthy.

"Who do you want me to pair you up with" I said exhaling.

"What?"

"People have been asking me to help them get a date. Does the person you wanna take have class with me? Preferably Dance class?"

"Uh yeah? I think she goes why the name, Ashlynn" he said making me choke on my saliva.

"WHAT?"

"Will you be my date to the Prom?"
