Remnants 50 - Bring Back The Reality

Arnold, MasterMind, and Lieutenant Josh went to the military base to meet up with the general that's controlling and keeping the Warlock's Infinity Gems. The three of them knocked out all of the soldiers that were blocking their way.

Then, they meet up with the general named General Michael after they knocked out all of the soldiers.

"General, stop all of this!", said Lieutenant Josh.

"Well, well, well. If this isn't Arnold and MasterMind, the one that discovers Melancholia", said General Michael.

"Why are you doing this? This could damage our reality", said MasterMind.

"Said someone who actually helping with the program. Before this, you were the one that wants to control the world with this program, now you want to destroy it and care for our world? How cute. With the gems is on my hand, nobody is going to stop me and I can rule the world! Muahahaha!"

"General, please, stop all of this. Don't you care about everyone that you tested on? They all have their normal life until you take that away from them. Don't you have mercy?", said Arnold.

"Heh, I don't care about them. What I care about are power and wealth!"

"You have gone too far, sir! We don't have any choice other than defeating you once and for all and also destroying the gems before anything happens", said Lieutenant Josh.

"Heh, you are all too brave. Come and get me then."

Arnold, MasterMind, and Lieutenant Josh then fight with General Michael that's armed with the gun that's loaded up with Warlock's Infinity Gems. They need to be cautious too since the gun can change them into something else.

After a while, they're fighting, and General Michael plans to shoot Lieutenant Josh. Josh then turned into a mannequin and that made Arnold and MasterMind shocked to see it.

"Josh! Oh no, he turned him into a mannequin!", said Arnold.

"Hahahaha! Looks like this gun is really powerful as he said. Thanks to him and the other soldiers who made this gun with the gems, now I can use this to make everyone bow down to me! Muahahaha!", said General Michael.

Arnold and MasterMind then feel mad inside them, and then both of them continue to fight with General Michael.

Suddenly, General Michael shoots MasterMind. Lucky for MasterMind, the gun didn't have the effect to turn him into something else, but still he's bleeding and can't get up.

Arnold then went to MasterMind to see his condition.

"MasterMind, are you okay?"

"I'm...fine. You have to stop him before he gets away."

"But how about you?"

"Heh, I'm going to be fine. Listen, I'm sorry for whatever I've done before. Now I want you to save your world once again. It's my fault too that the remnants of Melancholia are on your world and now General Michael is going to rule the world with it. You have to stop him no matter what it takes, if not your world is in great danger. Bring back the reality, Arnold. You're the one that I could count on. Will you do it for everyone here in your world?"

"I...I will, MasterMind. I will defeat him and bring back the reality of my world."

Arnold then went to catch General Michael.

Meanwhile, General Michael is going to fly a helicopter on his own. Suddenly, he saw Arnold is catching up to him. General Michael then flies up the helicopter, but Arnold managed to catch up with him and go up the helicopter.

General Michael then fights with Arnold in the helicopter. Arnold managed to take the gun and throw it into the forest. The gun is destroyed together with part of the gems inside it.

General Michael is mad that Arnold destroys the gun. He then fights with Arnold until he didn't control the helicopter which makes the helicopter out of control.

Luckily, Arnold found a parachute bag and jump out of the helicopter, but suddenly General Michael holds on to him.

"You can't escape me. If I go down, you have to go down too", mad General Michael.

"No! Only you will go down, not me", said Arnold.

Arnold then kicks General Michael and opens up his parachute. The helicopter then crashes and explodes along with General Michael inside, while Arnold land safely from the crash location.

And that's it! The end of General Michael and his soldiers that wants to take over the world with the remnants of the Melancholia program.

Arnold then went to the lab inside the military base to destroy all of the Warlock's Infinity Gems, which are also the remnants of Melancholia. He put out explosives inside the base and explode it. He also rescue MasterMind from the base, but unfortunately, he died back in the base.

After the remnants of Melancholia are destroyed, everyone that's being affected by it has been cured and they returned back as a human beings. Another effect after they've to return to their human self is they didn't remember anything about what happened before and when they turn into something else.

Arnold is glad that everyone is returning back to their human self, and the Melancholia program with its remnants is finally destroyed...for good. He also thanked MasterMind for the warning, and he already forgave him a long time on the Melancholia incident. The world is now at peace once again and reality is returning once again.
