"THIS IS MY LIVING ROOM WERE SANS WOULD SPEND HOURS LAZING ABOUT AND I WOULD SPEND HOURS WATCHING METTATON!" You tilted your head in a curious manner. "Metta-what?" Papyrus tried not to laugh at your ignorance on the subject. "NOT WHAT, WHO. METTATON IS A FAMOUS FACE AMONG MONSTERS. AND HE'S STARTING TO BECOME POPULAR WITH THE HUMANS." You started to wander to the next room, curious. "THAT'S MY KITCHEN WHERE I SPENT COUNTLESS HOURS PERFECTING MY PASTA!" You weren't so much invested in that as you were staring at the freakishly tall sink. "Why? Just why?" It was Papyrus turn to tilt his head. "PRANK GONE WRONG. SANS TRIED TO MAKE THE SINK TALLER SO THAT HE COULD HIDE IN THE CABINET STANDING UP. IT MADE HIDE AND SEEK A LITTLE TOO EASY THOUGH. I ALSO THINK IT WAS SO HE COULD GET OUT OF DOING THE DISHES." You huffed and rolled your eyes. "He's that bad? Kyle's got his work cut out for him." Papyrus raised a questioning bone brow while you started to head out of the room. "Kyle is interested in seeing if Sans would be a good partner, like we are doing." You explained, making Papyrus eyes bulge comically. You couldn't help laughing at his expense.

"I'M SIMPLY SAYING THAT I DIDN'T EXPECT FOR ANYONE TO EXPRESS INTEREST IN HIM! I'M VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS!" Papyrus defended, waving his arms frantically. "What's upstairs?" You decided to let off on him, choosing instead to check out the last two rooms in the house. "I- OH." He'd been ready for another tease. "THE BEDROOMS. THEY ARE AS BARE AS THE REST OF THE HOUSE THOUGH." You shrugged, inhaling Papyrus scent over the years as you made it to the first door which had once been coated with stickers and caution tape. You could tell he'd lived here for a very long time with the layers and layers of his scent going in and out. You could already tell that from the front door, but this just solidified it. "May I?" You asked. Papyrus looked startled but gave the go ahead. You entered the room, indents in the carpet telling you were furniture was. Clean patches of the wall suggested where things were hung. You could tell he'd kept his room clean and well maintained. Papyrus didn't say anything in favor of watching you roam the room.

Sans room was the opposite of Papyrus, you figured as much though. You didn't stay in his room quite as long as you'd stayed in Papyrus. You brushed past Pap and back down the stairs. "Wanna ride?" Papyrus looked confused. "A RIDE ON WHAT?" You chuckled as you opened the door to the snowy landscape. "On me, of course. I'll need to get used to your touch as a wolf if we are going to try this, so what better way to start then a wolf-back ride?" Papyrus looked excited. "OH STARS, REALLY?! I MEAN I'VE BEEN WONDERING FOR A WHILE IF I COULD RIDE YOU BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO COME OFF AS OFFENSIVE! NYEH!" Papyrus rushed out the door with you not far behind. Admittedly you did let lose a little upon shifting, you couldn't help it with all the snow drifts you could burst through, and roll in, and throw up with your muzzle, but eventually you shook off and went back to the eager Skeleton. You flinched at first contact, but held firm as he swung his leg over your back and wrapped his arms around your neck. When you were sure he was secure, you both were gone, nothing but a flurry of snow behind you.

You panted as you laid in Snowdin's woods with Pap leaning against you. "That... was exilerating.." He breathed, having clearly enjoyed the ride. You gave him a wolf grin and laid your head in his lap, having to curl around him to do so. This was fine. Intermingling scents was supposed to be normal for werewolf couples anyway. Your dad would probably want to meet him though. Possibly the Alpha too. They would have to wait though. You and Papyrus only JUST started courting? No, he'd used another word.. either way, they would have to be patient until your bond was stronger and Papyrus was comfortable with trying to go to the pack again. If that day never happened, well to bad for them, you were going to be a good mate. "[Y/N]... it will be getting dark soon. We should probably start heading back." You made a groaning noise, but removed your head from his lap with a yawn. He stood up, brushing snow off himself while you stood up and shook off. You offered another ride, making him grin wide. "OH YES PLEASE!"

As you raced through Waterfall, it occurred to you that in those woods was the quietest you'd ever heard the Skeleton speak. It was still very proud and confident, but it was clearly an inside voice rather than his usual attention seeking one. Had he even realized he was being that quiet? Or was something wrong that you hadn't picked up? You hadn't sensed any sort of sadness or anger, only a contented feeling. Happiness. An odd sense of belonging. Hotland took you longer to cross due to the heat and being human while in the lab. The C.O.R.E too. Plus the castle. You raced down the mountain to Papyrus convertible and you both drove home. You were actually pretty surprised to find Sans and Kyle laughing in the couch while they watched some strangely accented, loud, and boisterous male click all the buttons. He ended up blowing up the world. "JACKSEPTICEYE, REALLY BROTHER?" Sans wiped away a fake tear. "cause he's hilarious bro. kyle likes him too." Kyle grinned broadly. "Oh man, sis, you've gotta watch this guy play video games!"
"What's that?" You questioned. "oh you poor uncultured creatures.." Sans sighed mournfully. "We should probably head out, you can tell me about video games on the way back."
