The aroma of coffee was everywhere as Pete left his own room behind, and headed for the living room. This was always an indication that Vegas had already been there, since he always woke up early to go to the office where he worked. Because it was Sunday, Pete was not surprised to find the older man sitting at the dining table, a cup of coffee on one side, and his laptop on the other. And the damn glasses that made him fucking attractive.

He seemed to be paying attention to something he was reading on the laptop screen, but quickly looked away when Pete's presence was noticed. His frowning eyebrows soon softened, and a sideways smile appeared on the man's face. The boy hugged his own body, trying to ignore the memories that flashed in his mind, which, unaccompanied by the lust of the moment, made him uneasy. Pete murmured a 'good morning' and Vegas returned the greeting, watching him as he walked over to one of the desks and grabbed a glass to drink water.

"I don't remember very well what happened after you dried my hair. Did you put me to bed?" Pete asked, drinking the water and leaning his hips against the sink.

Vegas agreed, a little scattered with what he was reading, as he had returned his attention to his laptop, probably after noticing that Pete seemed fine and calm, aside from the obvious blush on his cheeks.

"I asked if you'd be okay sleeping alone, and you confirmed, so I took you to your bed," he replied, typing something next.

Oh, Pete didn't remember that.

"And you would have slept with me in case I preferred it that way?" The boy ventured, trying to sound natural and disinterested as he interacted with the drawstrings of the pants he had on before leaving the room. Vegas looked at him.

" Of course I would," the lawyer said, and tilting his head, he closed the technological device and pushed the chair back a little. "Come here."

Pete drank the rest of the liquid in the glass and left the object inside the sink, before walking directly to the older man who, without hesitation, pulled him onto one of his thighs, on which the boy sat. One of his arms soon encircled his waist, while the other remained on the table, creating a sort of barrier around him.

"I know you just woke up, but do you want to talk about what we did yesterday?" Vegas asked, seeming genuinely willing to listen to what the boy had to say. A part of Pete wondered if he seemed nervous to get Vegas to do that, while the other part loved the fact that he was being taken care of like that.

"I'm fine, hyung." And it was true. There was no need to hide something, when, in reality, Pete had been completely content last night. "I haven't given up, if that's what you're wondering."

Vegas laughed, kissing his shoulder.

"Did anything bother you about the scene?"

"No. I enjoyed the whole thing." Timidly, but bravely, Pete wrapped his arms around the lawyer's neck. "I was just too sleepy to be able to tell you how good it was."

"You do understand that was just the beginning, don't you? I'm going to push a little harder today, Pete. What do you think about that?"

"I want what you have to give, hyung. I like to see that you care about me and what I think because it makes me feel safe, but I don't want you to hold back just because I'm new at this. I'm not going to break."

"Oh, but back home I'm known as the god of destruction." His arm tightened against Pet's waist, and Vegas brought her face closer to his, smiling amusedly. "I wouldn't mind breaking you just a little bit. In fact, that's what I intend to do."

Pete swallowed dryly. Vegas knew how to tease, and that time, after all he had done to the boy, it was almost impossible not to wonder what the older man still held inside, like little surprises. Or maybe not so little.
