When your father was away, he had told you that he was attending a fancy and high-class banquet and you were left with your twin sisters in the Mansion for quite a while. Supposedly, he was only away for a day. But then he sent you a letter — and that day, turned into a week.

Your plans for the weekend were set aside as your father wasn't going to be home for that time being. So you decided to just make new plans to keep you busy for the next days and with what you've planned out was to spend more time with your little sisters.

On Monday you had taken your father's position with riding a horse with Aida, she was still sad that your father wasn't there to spend time with her. She has quite have literally complained and whined about it for an hour before you manage to coax her, and you were glad that she was still happy when you took his place.

On Tuesday with Aisha, you spent afternoons with reading in the library. Asking questions from time to time, you'd giggle whenever her face makes some new expressions as you learned that her normal look is always almost...empty. You were glad whenever her face contorts into a disagreeing look, even though it wasn't that half good. Still, she could express herself whenever she's reading a book.

Wednesdays were always time for painting, but having the weather rather gloomy that day, you three painted in the living room and took turns on sitting a chair to make a portrait of each other, for their age, they were quite good at making a portrait.

The next three days had the same routine, ride horses, read books, paint portraits, then when Saturday arrived, the day that you were supposed to be on your manor but given the circumstances, you decided to spend the rest of the day baking with the twins.

It did not end well, the kitchen was a disaster.

Flour messing the floor and icing on your faces. It was a disaster but it was also fun, at least the three of you were happy and that what matters. At the night of the same day, you also told them your encounter with the new maid back in the Laurent Manor, Aisha seemed to be surprised when you old her, only Abigail was an acquaintance because it seemed more, with how you and her spent together-both of you sounded like friends and not just acquaintance, Aida's reaction is the complete opposite of her sister though, it was quite funny too, with how she rolled in the bed whining about you finding a new friend, replacing her and not give all your attention and time to her, it made her sound that she were talking to your father, but then again, she's always like this, so you had to point out all the things that you wouldn't give up your attention and time away from her with some maid you've just met.

Sunday was spent doing all your own things, you merely spent the whole afternoon in your table, thinking of new recipes you could make and signing off papers that was just only a few.

Sunday was supposed to be resting day, peace to yourselves is supposed to be given, not until the clock ticked four and a letter is dropped off infront of the front door of the Dimoche Mansion.

A maid gave it to you, not saying anything and just bowing leaving the three of you in confusion on whom the writer of this letter, that confusion turned into excitement when the familiar stamp of the Initial D was first seen. It belongs to your father. The twins ushered you to open it, and hastily you did. While the three of you stood, anticipating for the letter to contain a message for his arrival after a week, the excitement that you all felt shrinks and turned into sadness...disgust...anger... disappoinment...dissatisfaction...all of those as it did not contain on what the twins and you had expected.

Your father had met a woman and it seemed, no, this was real. He was charmed by her manners and her beauty, he had it written on the letter.

They got married in the same week you were expecting for his arrival, the gifts he promised that you were waiting expectantly anticipating for him to give was gone. Dread was what you felt when her name was mentioned. The scribbles of his words. The Sylvia written on the paper had sent shivers down your spine.

Your biological mother who had abandoned you have married you adoptive father who have taken her place ever since she left you. Of course, this Sylvia might be different and there comes your hope rising for a little. There were a lot of Sylvia named around the world afterall, by with how your father described her black hair and green eyes. You heart dropped, there was this part of you that didn't want to read the letter further as it only brought you shaking with fury, but you did anyway.

I hope you treat Sylvia well. Sylvia and I will be arriving at the Mansion tomorrow. She can't wait to meet the three of you.

Would you be able to stand her when she would living the same roof as you?

No, you wouldn't.

Of course, you wouldn't be able to!

You loathed the woman!

You excused yourself and before they could ask why and even stop you, you already have scrambled through the halls. The dissatisfaction was still on their eyes as they watch you, a frown on the lips is Aisha and Aida have.

Later that night, the sounds of objects clattering loudly in your room was heard. Maids and Butlers had wondered what it was, they thought a robber broke in, but it was the frustration and anger you had felt. You brought out in your body. But even so, when you left your room like a mess, it never seemed to go away.
