I thought about what Samuel had said 'he said that they weren't good people right? Then I should be fine I think, I mean I'm new so no one will have anything against me, right?' All I could do was hope. I wandered on the beach for quarter of an hour until I had reached the caves, which were closed by fallen rocks just like when I was younger, I knew there was a hidden entrance that lead right to a small lagoon type part of the caves, it had always been my favourite part of the caves.
I found the secret entrance that lead into a rather wide crawl space. As I slowly crawled my way through, trying my best to avoid sharp rock or shards of glass as not to cut myself, I heard someone singing, the voice sounded masculine, a beautiful melody rang through my ears and I couldn't help but be drawn to it. When I had finally made my way to the lagoon I was greated by an empty silence. "I swear I heard someone" I said quietly to myself. 'Oh well' I thought, shrugging before I sat down, dipping my feet into the sea water.
I could feel someone staring at me while I was sat there but I knew it couldn't be true as I had looked around me so many times that I would have seen them by now. I took my hoodie off, sliding it over my head and placing it on the floor just behind me due to how hot it felt inside the cave. After a while I had gotten bored just sitting there alone with nothing to do but sit, I mean how could I do anything else? After all I couldn't swim so going into the small body of water would doom me due to the fact it was truly deeper than it looks as it led out into the sea. I decided to stay where I was for just a little while longer to enjoy the view for just a few more minutes.
When I tried to stand I ended up slipping due to the lower part of my legs being soaked, I fell straight into the water, slowly sinking into the depth of the ocean, even if it wasn't to far from the surface, the tide had come in a lot more and I couldn't see the sky and the seaguls flying within passing by. I knew I couldn't do anything, I was completely helpless. Then it hit me. I was going to die! But I couldn't, right? 'Surely,' I thought 'surely it's not my time yet' tears started forming as I struggled, trying and failing to reach the air above the water then, suddenly, I feel a strong arm wrap around me as I started to black out. I was only able to catch a glimpse of his face. He was handsome, he looked around my age with long dark hair, golden skin and beautiful purple eyes. Wait. Purple? 'But how?' I questioned in my own head before passing out.
