"Sana, darro nahi.. aao", said Sidharth forwarding his hand near the escalator of another mall.

"Yeh.. yeh seedhiyan kyu chal rahi hai?", She asked looking scared.

"Kyuki shehar ke logon ko dimaag chalaane ka itna shauk hai ki pair chalana bhool gaye hai..", he chuckled.

"Yaha pe neeche kahi khaana nahi milta hai ke?", She asked gulping her saliva.

"Hmmm.. ek kaam karte hai, ispe nahi jaate, lift se chalte hai. Chalo..", he suggests.

She nods her head thinking it must be some place where they get food and follows him.

"Yeh kya hai?", She asks innocently looking at the lift.

"Lift hai. Ismein hum khade honge bas aur yeh humein upar le jaayega. Chaute maale pe.", Said Sidharth pointing his finger up.

"Kaise?", She asks gulping in fear

"Machine hai sab, humko sirf ek 4 number wala button dabana hai.", He says pulling her inside and pressing the button. Her heartbeats were rising while the doors close automatically. It was so loud that he could hear it. The door opens again at the same floor and a kid with his mother enters the lift.

"Daro matt Sana. Main hoon na tumhaare saath", He whispered pressing her hands. She looked at the kid and smiled nervously. The kid didn't smile back and resumed licking the lollipop in his hand. The door closed again

A little jerk at the start triggers her fear. She clenched her eyes shut and hugged him tightly.

"Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram...", She chanted holy names in fear.

The kid giggled loudly looking at Sana trembling like a scared mouse.

"Aunty darr gayi.. Mumma dekho aunty darr gayi..", the kid clapped and jumped in excitement. Sana kept silent upon the mockery but didn't leave his embrace.

"Sssshhhh", the mother of the kid and Sidharth both sushed the boy in unison.

The door opened at 2nd floor and the lady walked out with her son leaving Sana and Sidharth alone in the lift.

"Pahuch gaye kya?", Asked Sana.

"Abhi nahi..", he said. Sana didn't open her eyes but loosened her grip only to embrace him even firmly as the lift resumed. He hugged her back. The door opened at 4th floor.

"Pahuch gaye?", She asked.

"Nahi.. abhi bahut time hai.", He said pushing the door close button. After few minutes, the lift went down to the basement and resumed it's trip to carry people up and down. The people glanced at them and reacted differently but Sidharth didn't move from his place and enjoyed the moment. A smile escaped his lips everytime she clutched him with halts and resumes.

"Shehar main logon ke paas samay bahut hove se barbaad karne ke liye. Itne mein main 10 baar seedhiyon se upar neeche chali jaati.", She muttered bringing him back from the trance. He chuckled.

"Yeah! If you promise me to stay with me forever then I am ready to waste my entire lifetime with you my love. It feels like heaven in your embrace.", He mumbled.

"Hmmm.. okay okay yeah", she replied even though she didn't understand anything he blurted in english.

The same kid from before entered the lift with his mother.

"Darpok aunty phir se..", said the kid. The lady looked at Sidharth after looking at the button unpressed.

"Get a room mister!!", The lady whispered to Sidharth.
