James

Allen and I woke up extra early and got ready for our last day of school before Thanksgiving break. I also packed some extra clothes for my week with Allen. My face was still aching but nothing could ruin my good mood today. I couldn't wait for a week with just me and Allen in an empty house. Once I was packed, I lifted both of my bags and threw them over my shoulders but I ended up gasping in pain and dropping one bag. Allen bent down and grabbed it for me and I kissed him. "Thanks for taking care of me, Allen."

"Anything for my boyfriend. Now, come on, let's go." I smiled and blushed. I love when he calls me that. I left a goodbye note on the fridge and left with Allen. We had decided to spend some time at Allen's house since we had an hour and a half before we had to be at the school. Allen flopped on the couch as I placed my bag on the living room table before sliding on his lap, pressing my lips against his. "Mmm, I think I like you being on top too." I rolled my eyes and kissed him again.

"I can't wait until it's just you and me in this house," I sighed happily. Allen held my hands in his, kissing them. He began to kiss up my arms before carefully placing kisses all over my face. I chuckled in response. This man is the love of my life. I could spend the rest of my life with him and I'd be happy. Our fingers intertwined and our lips met again. We both melted and it was as if we had become one. Our lips moved in sync and I could feel myself smiling into the kiss before we pulled away to catch our breath.

"I could kiss you all day."

I hummed in response, feeling myself blush. "How about an hour? Just so you don't drag me into the bathroom for a make out session at school."

It was Allen's turn to blush as he rolled his eyes, a smirk on his face. "Deal." We had spent that hour doing just that. We cuddled on the couch, kissing, laughing, and talking for an hour before we left and met Henry and Noelle at the front of the school.

Noelle stomped towards me before punching me in the shoulder. "Ow! What was that for?"

Noelle crossed her arms. "First off, you locked your door last night so I couldn't check on you! Then you ran off before I could even see you this morning! You had me worried sick!"

I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly. "Sorry, Noelle. But I'm okay, I promise. I just didn't want to see Dad this morning."

Allen raised a brow. "What happened with your dad?"

Henry shrugged. "Oh, you know, just the most homophobic shit I'd ever heard that man say."

"He wasn't wrong," I mumbled.

Noelle scoffed. "Are you fucking kidding me? He basically blamed you for getting jumped!"

"I'm gonna kill your dad," Allen spoke.

I rolled my eyes and elbowed him. "No you're not."

"I might!" We began walking down the halls together, talking for a few minutes before walking to our first class of the day. I watched as people stared at me while I walked by, speaking in hushed voices. "Hey, don't worry about them. I'm here. I won't let you get hurt ever again."

I smiled, my hand grazing his. I really wish I could kiss him right now. "Thank you." We continued walking, ignoring the whispers surrounding us.

"Uhm, James." I turned around to see Rick and I felt my heart begin to race. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

Allen spoke up, standing in between us. "Does he look okay to you?" Allen shoved Rick, causing him to lose his footing and fall on the ground. "Don't come here acting all fucking concerned when you did this to him!" The whispers grow in volume as more eyes were on us.
