"Your Being Ridiculous"

As Lily gave me a slight smile, and said "im sorry, but i have to go, i have lunch with on of my good friends"

"okay, Mom, bye" Eric said, Lily kissed erics head, and smiled at me, then walked out the door

Eric started jumping and he hugged me

"this is great for you!" he cheered pulling away

"omg, omg omg!" i said, realizing what just happended

"see! i told you everything was gonna go just perfect!" Eric said, smiling at me

"B-But what if, but what if she dosent like the dress i make? like, like its too lacey, or to puffy" i said, picking up all my clothes and putting them neatly back in the box

"Bow, your being ridiculous-" Eric started

I gasped

"what?" Eric asked, worried

"What is she thinks theres too much white?" I clapped my hand over my mouth

"oh Scarlett, your crazy" Eric said, shaking his head, and started putting clothes in the box

"What if she dosent like silk!" i gasped

"Oh, and what if she dosent like wedding dresses! your gonna have to make her a jumper!" Eric said, mimiking my voice

"oh stop it, eric, im being Serious" i replied, hitting him with my hand

"okay okay, im sorry, jease" Eric said, rubbing his arm

"i-ive never met her, i dont know what she likes, or-or if she prefers frill over lace, or-"

"Scarlett, Scarlett, Scarlett, calm down, you are a great fashion designer, whatever you make for her, she'll love, i promise" Eric said, putting a hand on my shoulder

i nodded Franticly

"about the not knowing her, or what she likes, thats why you and her go to lunch, okay, Mom left her number on the table, call her, and plan somthing" he said

"were-were could we go?" I asked

"um, tomorrow is sunday, sunday theres brunch at the club, call her" he said

He took the phone and dailed the number Lily left on a sticky note

He handed me the phone, i took a deep breath and took it

"hello?"

"okay, here is your popcorn" Eric said, handing me a bowl full of buttery popcorn

"thank you" i said, taking the bowl he handed me

I was sitting on the edge of his bed, with my
design book, i set the popcorn bowl beside me

"hows the design going?" he asked, sitting beside me

"good, i got the white part down" i replied, showing him the blank page

"its a start" he joked, turning on the tv

I stared at the blank page, and sighed

"omg i cant take this anymore" Eric yelled

"what?"

"why wont you tell me what the girl on the phone said" he whinned

"fine"

"i want to know every detail, eaxctly what she said, and when she cleared her throat and-" Eric ranmbled

"she just said she'd love to meet me for brunch at the club" i replied

"what time?"

"11"

"do you have an outfit picked out?" He questioned eating a peice of my popcorn

I nodded, and took a sip of my Cola

Till about 10Oclock, we stayed up watching tv

"im gonna go change" I said, and took my bag into the bathroom attached to Eric's room

I changed into Blue sweatpants and a matching blue sweater

i walked out and set my bag on the floor, i took my hairbrush, and started brushing my hair

"when are you going to cut thst hair" i joked, putting my hairbrush through his hair, making it poof up a bit

"hey hey hey" he said, swatting my brush away

I laughed and put my brush back in my bag

I sat beside Eric, and turned the tv up louder

"sorry bow, your going to bed" Eric said, taking the remote from my hand and turning the tv off

"what why?" i whinned

"you have to get up early, you have to meet the Bride, remember" eric said

"as if i would forget" i scoffed

"and you have to wake up early tomorrow, so,go to bed"

"okay okay, how about, twenty more minutes?" I asked, batting my long eyelashes

"fine" he huffed, and turned the tv on, i smiled, and layed my head on his shoulder

"i dont know what you were talking about" i said "im not even tired...."
