chai tea - larry+tanner

the sound of a spoon clinking around a mug could be heard all throughout the house.

it was larry's daily tea time, which usually ended in cuddles from his boyfriend tanner. it didnt matter how hot or cold it was inside or out, they both shared the cup of tea while snuggled up close together.

the younger tapped the spoon on the side of the cup and put it in the sink next to a few other dirty dishes waiting to be washed.

he brought the warm mug to his lips and took a small sip, tasting the chai tea he had just made. he hummed in approval and walked back out to the living room.

tanner was half laying-half sitting on the couch with a light blanket on his lap.

they both looked at eachother with the biggest heart-eyes ever and shared a smile. the older sat up a bit and opened his legs a little and patted the space inbetween. larry laughed a bit at the way he was sitting but walked over to him anyway.

he handed the cup to his beloved boyfriend so they could get comfortable.

larry's head was rested on the other's left shoulder, and he instinctively pushed his head into tanner's neck.

he kissed up his neck, to his jaw, and to his cheek before quietly asking for the tea back. tanner shook his head.

"what? why cant i have it back?" the smaller pulled his head away slightly, his face had confusion written all over it.

"you gotta kiss me for it" the older calmly said while putting his hand on the back of larry's head.

larry scoffed at the request, but nonetheless leaned in and closed the small gap between the two.

they both smiled into the sweet kiss. the pair had been dating for almost a year now, but every little touch, gesture, and kiss made them feel the most intense butterflies.

once they pulled away and opened their eyes, their cheeks were dusted a cute, light pink. tanner smiled down at his partner and handed the tea back to him.

"thanks" larry whispered and resumed back to his original position.

the two may be idiots, but they were in love. and thats all that mattered in that moment.
