you loved days like this. the days where you dont have to do anything. no work, no stress, no pressure. what made it even better was the fact that your boyfriend, blake, was visiting you for the week.

"what do you wanna do today?" you asked the male on the couch as you sat down aswell.

blake didn't reply at first, he just leaned his head on your shoulder and let out a satisfied hum. you just rested your head atop his and took his hand in yours.

his free hand slowly reached over your waist to play with your fingers on your other hand.

your heart practically melted. you two were affectionate, of course, but since you live farther away than you'd like, these little moments meant so much to you both. your brain took a mental screenshot.

"you tired, hm?" you whispered gently. he nodded his head, still refusing to talk. "okay, come on."

you tried to stand up but your needy boyfriend let go of your hands and pushed you back down on the couch. "don't move..."

"but you're gonna want to lay down," you say, squirming to leave his grasp "and we can't really lay down on here"

you could tell he was thinking about what you said, but he wasn't ready to give up that easily. he just moved his head lower, eventually placing it directly in your lap.

you let out a sigh, knowing how stubborn he is.

"blake." you say, a hint of seriousness in your voice. his head lifted up to look at you, a bit of fear was evident on his face.

"let's go to my room, it'll be better than the couch."

he nodded and stood up, rubbing his eyes. you stood up aswell and took his hand as you lead him to your room.

you both got under the warm covers, him immediately spooning you and leaving little kisses on your neck. a shiver went down your spine.

you craned your head to the side and gave him a sweet kiss on his lips, which he gladly accepted.

"goodnight, love." you whispered just before you turned back and closed your eyes.
