haha hey guys... it def hasnt been a month since i posted a oneshot ahah... (pls dont be mad at me :sob:) this is the fluff w mild angst yall said you wanted !!

also!! if you are not trans, feel free to skip this chapter. i tried to make this applicable to both ftm and mtf but if anything seems a bit too specific let me know and ill change it :3 enjoy

you and larry have been dating for almost a year now. you both tell eachother everything.

well, almost everything.

see, you were assigned (male/female) at birth. but lately, you've been feeling different. you picture yourself as the opposite gender sometimes. you would even go as far to say that you liked the idea of being the other gender.

it wasn't that you didn't trust larry, you knew your gender wouldn't be a problem with him. you were just so nervous. there was a voice in the back of your head telling you that he'd hate you and dump you.

you actually had tried to tell him before, but chickened out at the last second. you don't even want to think about that time.

the two of you were lying in bed, just cuddling and enjoying each other's presence. you looked up at him, going slightly pale as you were nervous. "larry, can i talk to you about something?" you finally choked out.

"yeah, what's up, d/n?" he smiled. you mentally cringed at the name. but he didn't know. not yet, atleast. you gave a small smile back, but it quickly faded as you looked down. suddenly, your throat became dry. you started to shake. you wanted to take it back and just pretend nothing happened.

"baby, what's going on? are you okay?" he sat up a bit and grew worried. tears formed at the corners of your eyes, threatening to fall. you choked back multiple sobs, getting worked up over seemingly nothing. "i- i'm sorry-"

you tried to get up, but larry gently grabbed your hand and pulled you back. "d/n, please tell me what's going on."

this sent you over the edge. you collapsed onto him and cried out, distressed and upset. larry pulled you into his chest and frowned, shushing you ever so sweetly.

"i'll be ready to listen whenever you're ready," he spoke softly, not wanting to disturb you. "i love you no matter what."

a couple minutes later, you had calmed down. "god.. i'm so sorry," you started, breathing heavily. "i didn't mean to get so worked up."

the boy next to you nodded and smiled, wanting to comfort you. "do you want to talk about it? if not it's okay, but i want you to get it off your chest."

you sighed and decided it was time. there was no running from it now.

"i don't want this to get in the way of our relationship." you started, eyes drifting away from larry. "i'm... trans. my pronouns now are (pronouns) and my new name is y/n. i still love you the same amount. i hope you do too."

you swore your heart skipped a beat. there was no way this was real. you did not just say that.

"oh, y/n.." larry cooed, pulling you in close. your heart fluttered at the affection and the fact he had used your preferred name so quickly.

and the two of you sat there. talking, laughing, etc. hours passed, and your anxiety subsided. you always knew deep down that larry would support you no matter what.

you eventually fell asleep in his arms, warm and comfortable.

larry placed a sweet kiss to the top of your head and adjusted his body a bit.

"goodnight, y/n. i love you."
