(okay wait,, is it just me or is writing in second person so much easier?? every time i try to write in third or first it always ends up rlly shitty LMAO anyway end of my mini rant haha)

ever since you and isaac confessed to eachother a few weeks ago, he's just consumed your life even more. in a good way, obviously.

you spend more time together whether it be on call or in person.

however, even after dating for a bit, you two have never been on a date together. you didnt want to rush things, and isaac was just too nervous to ask. he's been an anxious person even before you two met.

though, you only live once so you said fuck it. let's ask this bitch out.

so that's just what you did.

now you're in the car to Isaac's house. your head was pounding, palms sweaty, mind racing. you knew that there was pretty much nothing you could do to mess up. you and isaac have known eachother for so long.

just as you pulled up, you took a deep breath. this was your last chance to back down.

before you could stop yourself, you were already out of your car and almost at isaac's door.

you just walked in, no knock or anything.

"hey y/n!!" your boyfriend yelled from upstairs. "I'll be down in a second!"

you just laugh and wipe your hands on your pants. just then, he walked down with a huge smile on his face.

"hi," you both say in unison as you two hug.

his hands lightly rub your back, comforting you and making your anxiety go away a bit. "you ready to go?" you whisper.

he nods in response, and with that, you two leave.

that night, you two spend hours talking and laughing over a nice dinner. it was nothing fancy or extravagant, it was perfect for both of you.

it was around 23:00 when you two left and returned back to isaac's house.

"y/n," the boy next to you spoke. "do you wanna go on a walk before you leave?"

"yes, of course!" you smile over at him.

you two intertwined your fingers and started walking around the neighborhood. the both of you never let go of eachother's hands, almost as if your wrists were chained together. you wished you never had to let go.

but when you walked isaac up to his door, you had to. you had to let him go.

"I had a lot of fun with you," the taller states. you smile and look up at him. "I did, too."

the atmosphere around them basically went silent and the eye contact between the two got a bit intense. you could see isaac's eyes wander down to your lips.

he slid his hand down to your waist and pulls your body even closer his.

"is this okay?" he whispers, leaning in ever so slightly.

"yes," you nod. you leaned in aswell.

the small gap quickly closed between you and him.

everything seemed to fade away. it was just you and him. isaac and you.

after what seemed like 2 seconds (which was actually way longer) isaac pulls away. he stares into your eyes while breathing a bit heavier than before.

"i love you y/n." he says. you lay your head on his chest.

"i love you too, isaac."
