In the morning Shane made everyone's lunches, while Kat made breakfast. When he completed his task he admired the way she looked in her outfit.

When she moved her skirt floated around her making her look ethereal. Shane took Kat's hand and started dancing with her in the kitchen. "Shane," Kat laughed. "I have to finish-" Kat was cut off by Shane's lips meeting hers, she tilted her head to deepen the kiss and while his hands gripped her hips bringing her closer, she held his face bringing him down a little so she didn't have to just tiptoe. That's how the other Plummer children found Shane and Kat, they were liplocked in the kitchen with lunches on the counter and breakfast on the table.
"Lulu," Shane passed her lunch and the girl got in the car. "Seth," the male smiled at Shane and sat in the back. "Zoe," Shane handed her the lunch but stopped her getting in the car, instead Kat got in. "Today, you drive." "But I can't even pass drivers ed," she protested. "Exactly," said Shane getting in the passenger side of the car. "We're all gonna die," said Seth, realising that Zoe was driving. "Have you ever given a driving lesson before?" Zoe asked Shane. "In a mini van? No. But think of it like a Bradley Assault Vehicle." "Yeah especially with Zoe driving," Seth piped up from the back of the car. Kat stifled her laughter and disguised it as a cough. The way to school was filled with screaming and shouting, so when the car stopped Lulu launched herself to the ground hailing the land and Seth just rushed to get away from the car. Kat laughed at their reactions and helped Shane with Peter and Tyler.
"Hey," said the principal smiling at the younger adults and how close they were. "Hi how are you?" Asked a happy Kat. "I'm good. I just wanted to say that I've seen an improvement in your siblings." "They're just misunderstood, Peter be careful! Don't make me come up there!" Shane told the toddler. "Someone just needed to take the time to talk to them." "Sounds like you're getting a little attached. Looks like it too," the principal said. "I take my job very seriously," the principal just grinned. "Than what's that on Kat's neck right there?" The principal gestured to the dark hickey that had been left last night. Kat blushed and looked down at what the principal was saying, she knew that Shane would have to leave at some point but she didn't want to think about that. Seeing Kat upset Shane started talking "They're just kids." Sensing the atmosphere the principal just smiled and walked away saying goodbye as she walked. "Rin I-" "No I get it. You love helping people. You love your job. It's only natural you'll have to go back," she said looking at her hands. "Your right. But what if you asked me to stay?" "You wouldn't pick me. I've been disappointed far too many times in the past and-" Shane cut her off with a lingering kiss. "I love my job. But I would choose you in a heartbeat if you asked me to stay," Shane murmured against her lips. Kat smiled and kissed him again, words weren't needed.
When the two broke apart, they saw Murney approaching with Seth. "Okay, I've had it. I caught the kid dancing under the bleachers to no music. I want him out of my class. Someone's gotta give this pink a talking to," Murney said pointing at Seth. Seth looked at Shane for help, "Seth?" He gestured to Murney. "What? You got something to say twinkle-toes?" "Yeah. Yeah I do Murney. I quit," Seth said confidently. "You quit? You know why you quit, because you're a quitter. And everybody knows that quitters. Quit. What are you scared of Prancer?" "I'm not scared. I want to act." "And I wanna take up origami." "I'm in The Sound of Music." "Oh, a musical. So you're giving up wrestling to be in a musical. See that's what happens when there isn't a man in the house." "There is a man in the house!" Yelled Seth. "It's me." "It gotta be a tiny house," laughed Murney. "Don't. Speak to my brother. Like that," hissed Kat squaring up with Murney. "He's the man of the house, whether you like it or not. You don't live with us so shut your pie hole." Shane stared at Kat in admiration as she stood toe to toe against the much taller man. "Hey frog man," called Murney. "Keep your girl on a leash will ya?" Before Kat could pounce at Murney, Shane grabbed her around the waist and whispered into her ear his plan to humiliate the taller male. "Where d'you wanna do this?" Asked Shane. "What re you talking about babysitter?" "You said you wanted to wrestle. Where? When?" "After school." "Okay," Shane smirked. "Today?" "That's right. The gym. Remember you mess with the bull, you get the horns," Murney snorted in a bull like manner and walked off. "How'd that feel?" Shane asked Seth after Murney had left. "It was good," he grinned. "And you were hot," spoke Kat having moved to sit on the bench again. "I mean, that smirk was so-" Shane kissed her making the girl smile. "Only you Rin, only you."
After school, practically everyone was gathered in the gym about to watch Murney get humiliated. Murney was dressed in a ridiculous outfit whereas Shane was in his usual get up of a t-shirt and cargo pants. Murney started to hype himself up for the fight while Shane just watched him. Murney rushed at Shane only to be flipped over. "Rule number 1. Never be too eager to rush your opponent," Shane spoke making the hall quiten down. "Wanna play prison rules frog man?" Murney asked getting up off the floor. "Wanna play prison rules you got it. I'll be your daddy." Murney tried to ouch Shane, only to be dodged. He than tried to push Shane only for him to grab Murney's hand and start to bend it backwards. "Now you've unlocked the beast" said Murney with a grunt of pain as he was brought down to his knees. "From this position it's relatively easy to manipulate your opponent," Shane stepped behind Murney, twisting his arm "thus we have the chicken wing." Shane straightened the bent arm to the side pushing Murney down, "The arm bar." Shane bent Murney's arm in a right angle, " The crowbar. Or my personal favourite," Shane stuck Murney's hand in his mouth. "The Pacifier!" Shane then flipped Murney onto the floor again. "Any questions? Anything you didn't understand?" Cheers just continued to echo in the gym. Murney pushed himself up and tried to do the nipple cripple. "Ah the nipple cripple. This is a useless, not to mention shameless move that ultimately is a sure sign of desperation." Shane pinned Murney to the mats and everyone cheered. Seth ran down and counted the pin, Shane won, and Murney was humiliated. Overall Kat enjoyed the show her boyfriend had put on.
