"The good news is, once I give this to my CO then whoever's bothering you, ain't gonna be bothering you anymore," Shane said to the Plummer kids all day on the couch. Kat was next to him leaning on his shoulder with Tyler in her lap. "Really?" Asked Zoe. "Really," Shane nodded. He saw Lulu deflate a little. "What's wrong Lulu? Your mother's coming home. You should be happy." "But Shane, doesn't that mean that you have to go?" Shane felt Kat tense on his shoulder so evaded the question. "You guys should go upstairs and get ready, your mother will be home soon," once everyone had left, Kat passing Tyler to Zoe, Shane took one of Kat's arms and made her start dancing with him. "Will you stay?" Kat whispered, not wanting to ruin the moment she was having with Shane. "Will you stay here? With me, with the family, please?" Shane looked at his girlfriend and leaned down to give her a gentle kiss. "I'll talk to my superior when he arrives. I love my job," Kat looked down at this statement guiltily. Shane chuckled and lifted her head up so he could see her. "But I love you more." He saw that Kat tested up at this and next thing he knows is Kat had her arms and legs wrapped around him and was kissing him passionately. "I love you too," she said before going back to kissing him. He gripped her butt squeezing her lightly causing her to let out a little moan enabling him to tangle their tongues. Kat gently rolled her hips to meet Shane's and he groaned at her movement. "Rin," he said breathlessly as she rolled her hips harshly and kissed his neck lightly. "We can do that later, okay?" Kat sighed but nodded detangling their limbs and went to get ready too.

When Julie Plummer entered her house for the first time in two weeks she was surprised to see it clean and hear a song from The Sound of Music. Mrs Plummer spotted a program for the show and looked at it to see Seth as one of the main parts, she smiled. She moved to the family room, the Captain following behind her, to see all her kids stood under a banner; her smile widened when she saw that Shane had an arm wrapped around Kat's waist and she was leaning against him, her eldest baby was in love. Shane turned the music off and wrapped both his arms around Kat balancing his chin on her head. The Captain stared at them for a moment before moving his gaze away. "Welcome home Mom," Zoe smiled as she held Tyler. Mrs Plummer moved to embrace her children, Shane slightly pushed Kat towards the group so he could speak with the Captain.
"I am so proud of you. I truly am. I'm going to give you your choice of assignment. Anywhere you wanna go, you just name it," the Captain spoke as he and Shane entered the garage. Shane chuckled at this. "I appreciate that, but I wanna stay here," Shane said seriously. "You wanna stay here?" "Well the military is all I've ever known, I have no regrets." "I should hope not." "It's just that being with this family, I've never had a family so-" "Put your hands up!" A voice shouted. Shane and the Captain turned to look at who it was. The two figures unmasked themselves to reveal the Chuns from next door. "Give us the key," spoke Mrs Chun. Just as the Captain was about to give the Chuns the key, Shane took it and attacked them both only to be knocked out by the Captain himself.
