In this one-shot both of them are around the age of 17-18
Mike is already 18.
The byers moved back to Hawkins.

Will and Johnathan sat in johnathan's new car. They were talking about some school stuff.
"I don't know Johnathan I've just been kind of stressed with everything. I dont get a lot of sleep it's just kind of shitty."
Will told Johnathan while looking out the front window.
"I maybe know something that helps but don't get any ideas. It's just for now. You wanna try?" Johnathan got out some weed and held it over to Will.
Will was kind off freaking out and hesitant at first but then he just thought that he might aswell try.
So he did, he tried. At first he thought it was he worst but he just went with it.
Johnathan watched out for his little brother and thought it would be fine.
Since the both of them weren't home he turned on the car to get home.
They started driving when suddenly there were some weird noises and Johnathan realized that those noises definitely meant no good. So they kept driving until the car broke down.
"Shit." Johnathan swore while getting out the car. So he went to the front and opened it. He didn't know a lot about the new car but he did buy it cheaper than the normal price.
Johnathan kept swearing and started hitting the car. Will now also got out but he felt light headed.
"Johnathan i don't feel that good..." was all he got out. So there Johnathan was all alone on the road with his high brother. It was his own fault. Luckily he knew there was a patrol station not far where he could use a phone. So he got his things out the car and he and Will started walking over there.

After a few minutes of walking they got there and Johnathan went inside to call his mom when he realized that there was a problem. Johnathan got Will high he couldn't let his mom see that. So he thought of something new. He thought of the number and waited for just a bit.

"Hello?" It was not the voice he expected but it was good enough.
"Mike? is Nancy there?"Johnathan asked.
"No man she just left." Mike said while the TV was playing in the background.
"Shit what am I gonna do now..." Johnathan mumbled to himself.
"Is everything alright? Can I help with anything you sound stressed out?" Mike asked. Johnathan knew it was the only thing that could possibly help him escape from his mother.
"You recently got your driver's license right? could you please come pick Will up from the patrol station near your house. We can't walk its too hot and my car broke down." He asked feeling embarrassed.
"Sure I'll be there in five." Mike said hanging up.

Johnathan felt relieved and went outside. He looked around for will who wasn't there anymore. Thats when he panicked. "WILL!? WHERE ARE YOU!?"
He felt a tap on his shoulder.
"I'm here stop shouting you're giving me a headache.." Johnathan grabbed his brother and pulled him to the side and they waited. After a few minutes a car pulled up and Johnathan knew it was the wheelers.
"Will come with me Mikes here so don't say something dumb." He held his hand out to Will who stood up by himself already and went over to the car.
"Mikeeee" Will giggles as he got into the front seat. Mike was surprised by wills behavior but didn't complain or say anything. Johnathan now stood in front of Mikes car door. "Hey. Whats up with Will and where do you want me to drop you guys off?" Mike turned to him.
"I'm not coming i have to get my car working. Could you please take him to yours? He can't go home like this..."
Johnathan scratched his neck awkwardly." Mike raised his eyebrows.
"Sure but you didn't tell me what the heck is going on with him." "He's high okey I didn't think he'd get high from it"
Johnathan said a bit pissed.
"You gotta be kidding me...fine... he'll stay the night at mine and I'll tell Nancy." Mike put his hand on his forehead. "Fine.. stay save and you're responsible for him." Thats when Mike drove off they were there really fast and mike helped Will to get into his basement. Thank God Mike's parents weren't there was what he thought.
He put Will onto the couch.
"I'll get you some water alright. I'll be right back." He was about to go when he felt arms wrap around his waist from behind. They pulled him onto a certain someone's lap.
"Stay here i don't want to he alone..." Will mumbled while hugging Mike.
Mike was panicking inside he didn't know what to feel, if it was awkwardness or if it was just the butterflies he felt for years now going wild. "F- fine okey I'll stay but you gotta let me go." Mike said trying to sound normal but his voice kept on breaking.
Will slowly let him go and mike sat down next to him. "You should really get some rest Will." Mike looked at Will who was also looking back him. Or at least he thought he was staring back but Will seemed to have struggles choosing if he should look at Mike's eyes or lips. It made Mike really nervous but he knew Will was high so taking the situation for advantage would be the worst thing to do.
They kept quiet but the smaller boy seemed to be getting closer. Mike really didn't know what to do while trying to process what the hell is going on.
That's when their lips touched. Will gently put his hand onto Mike's cheek.
Mike really did enjoy the moment but he knew Will was high and he couldn't do that to his bestfriend. "Will...I can't... you... you're high..." he said in-between kisses. Will pulled back but didn't move his hand. "I couldn't do it if I wasn't, you know? Everybody knows I like you I just don't understand why you don't like me back... is it because we're guys..?" he now started sobbing. Mike was dumbfounded. "Wait you- you like me? I didn't know.. please dont cry.." Mike looked at Will's lips which started swelling up a little. He just felt like kissing him as shitty as it was. He knew it was shitty but he did it. He pushed his lips onto the other boys. Will was caught by surprise and fell back a little but Mike kept on pulling his so called bestfriend closer. Will of course, kissed him back and they kissed for what felt like years. They didn't want to pull away. Mike accidentally whimpered a little in-between a kiss and pulled back.
Will's face was complete red and he felt his stomach turn by that small sound.
"U-uhm sorry you should get rest now I'll drive you home tomorrow okey..." he looked at the small window and saw that it was already dark outside. Both Mike's and Will's lips were swollen and mike was about to leave when will pulled him back again.
"I meant it when I said stay.." he pulled Mike to the couch where the both of the looked at eachother and fell asleep after a long time of staring at eachother.

As soon as Will woke up his head hurt.
"Hmpf... what happened to me where am I.." Will asked but then he remembered everything. He looked over to where he last seen mike and there he was. His eyes still closed.
Will smiled a little but then he saw that mike was now looking at him.
"Morning feel better?" Mike asked at first not thinking about what happened but noticed really fast that Will also remembered. Will's face was a little red his lips also still a little swollen.
"Oh my God I am so sorry about yesterday I dont know what I was thinking-" he was cut off by a pair of lips. "It's fine its not like I didn't like it.. UUUH... I'm just gonna go upstairs to eat haha.." Mike started laughing and Will did too after a while. They felt like complete idiots and noticed how awkward they were. Mike smiled and so did Will. The curly haired boy now gently put his hand onto the other boys face and kissed him.
Even out of the dumbest things something good could come with it.
