Mike was on the way to Will's house since they had a project together.
They hadn't talked a while so mike wasn't sure how he felt.
In one way he was happy,exited and genuinely relieved they would finally talk again. In the other way he was absolutely terrified. What if Will hated him now and didn't want to hang out with him. What if he told his mom and Johnathan so when he got there they would look at him with a judgmental look. He was so deep in thought he almost didn't realize he was there.
He slowly put his bike down and was about to knock when the door opened.
"I'll be off then!" It was joyce "mike, What a pleasant surprise to see you again. Will is in his room you can head straight in.  Oh no I'll  be late" she ran to her car. Mike was surprised.

He took off his shoes and went to Will's room. He knocked on the door.
"Did you seriously forgot something again?" Will opened the door only to be met by mike wheelers eyes. "O- oh mike you're here? Come in." Will's hair was really messy and he seemed like he was spending the whole day in his bed not even changed. His room was a mess which was unusual for him.
"So... we gonna start the project or..?"
Mike asked awkwardly.
"Right! right yes sorry"
"There's nothing to he sorry about Will"
"Right s-"
Mike looked at him which made will shut up. Finally they actually started their project. "So what is our project even about?" Mike asked.
"Body anatomy" Will answered.
"Oh-" mike looked down at his paper.

They both sat down on the floor of Will's room. During the project they didn't really talk. It was really awkward which was unusual for the two of them. Mike didn't understand why they weren't talking he really wanted to but what would they talk about. Their project didn't require talking at the moment.
It seemed he had zoned out and Will noticed. He looked at mike with worried eyes.
"...ike?"mike heard someone talk.
"M....?" Again someone was talking.
He felt a warm hand on his shoulder.
"Micheal?" Mike was back in reality and found Will right in front of him with his hand on his shoulder
"Ah shit. Sorry that was weird-"
"Are you okey?" Will asked
"Y-yea im alright."
"You never zone out unless you think  really hard about something that is bothering you." Will pulled his hand away but stayed where he was.
"I just really wanted to talk to you but i didn't know what to say."
Will chuckled a little and it made mikes heart skip a beat.
"How about talking about anything but school?" Will smiled.
"Im fine with that"
The two boy smiled at eachother.
"So... why didn't we talk anymore..?" Mike asked.
"Oh. We're gonna talk about that." Will scratched the back of his neck.
"Well you just stopped talking to me so yeah."mike looked at him.
"I wanted to give you and el space i felt like i was in the way" Will looked away now.
"Oh come on that bull." Mike snapped
"No its not." Will voice was high pitched he was lying.
"Will."
"Because I feel like I'm in the way Mike. You two just-"
"Will me and el aren't a thing anymore. We haven't been a thing since before you stopped talking to me we just didn't say anything so how did you suddenly feel in the way?" Mike asked directly.
"You aren't a thing..? But why  didn't  you like eachother?"
"I like someone else. I couldn't lie to her about it so i told her everything and we kept being friends. She understood. "
"Oh god... I'm a idiot..."
"No you aren't  stop talking about yourself like that."
"Sorry."
"Don't be."
"Okey..."
The two kept doing their project not saying a word again. After a while Will decided to change that.
"You said you liked someone else....who is she?"Will asked. Mike furrowed his eyebrows at the word 'she' .
"He is a great person." Mike looked up directly into Will's eyes.
Will was about to say something but then he realized.
"oh. Then... uh... who is uhm... he?"
Will looked at Mike  but couldn't keep  holding the eye contact.
" Are you okey with me liking a boy?" Mike seemed a bit shocked.
"Yea."
"Why would you be okey with something like tha-"
"Because i like a boy too. " Will looked away with red cheeks.
Mike began to smile and moved closer towards Will. Will looked up again.
"So tell me about him." Will smiled.
"He is really nice and my bestfriend. He has brown hair." Mike now sat right infront of will who was thinking hard which made mike chuckle.
"Need another hint?" Mike looked into Will eyes and then down to his lips.
Will's heart beat faster  he looked at Mike's lips which seemed to be moving closer so he leant in to kiss him.
Mike was a bit surprised Will was the one to actually start the kiss but enjoyed it a lot. He kissed back immediately. He slowly touched wills cheek which made Will gasp a little by the sudden touch. Will put is hand onto Mike's hair and started playing with it. Mike normally hated people touching his hair but this was Will. Not even el could touch it. Will had a special place in his heart. They kept kissing and slowly felt more comfortable with it. At first they were both a little stiff but then they got closer. Mike hand put his other hand onto Will's leg and Will put his on Mike's cheek too. Suddenly the door opened and Johnathan stood in the door "hey will did you see my- keys..." he looked a little shocked which was understandable. He kind of guessed Will had a crush on mike but that they were together? He sure as heck didn't  think that. "Johnathan we uh- i can explain-" mike snorted since he thought it sounded like those dramatic moments in movies where the man or woman is caught cheating. "What exactly do you want to explain? That you didn't just kiss mike?" Johnathan looked at mike.
"Well that would be a lie." Mike joked and Will turned a little red from embarrassment.
"Shut up mike." He mumbled.
"Well I'll let you continue whatever it was. Have fun but not too much fun." Johnathan left the room with that weird ass comment which made mike now feel embarrassed as well.
"That was we-"
"OH shut it mike you can get out that door right damn now you asshole." Will hid his face feeling even more embarrassed than before if that was even possible.
"Aw... okey sorry ,love. I'll go" He said to make will more embarrassed.
"MIIIIKEE" Will couldn't help but laugh.
"Sorry sweetheart." He stood up.
"STOP MIKE." he laughed hard.
Mike laughed too and gave Will a kiss on his forehead. "I'll come back tomorrow. For... 'the project' " Mike smirked to himself.
Will finally looked at Mike.
"I never said I'd let you in." Will smiled.
"You'd have to make the project yourself." Mike looked at him still smirking a little and Will got up.
"Not like you'd be a help." It was Mike's turn to be embarrassed. They stood way to close. What seemed like a normal conversation mostly seemed like aggressive flirting to be honest.

Johnathan who just passed Will's door felt extremely awkward just by listening. After mike left Will closed the door and turned around.
"Will. You got something you wanna tell me?" Johnathan stood there with crossed arms. "Nope haha..." he slowly walked past him and into his room.
"No worries i have time tomorrow aswell." Johnathan yelled before Will's door closed.
