It was in the middle of the night that Will woke up. Mike had stayed at his after they were working on a school project because of rain and it was getting late anyway. He turned around to look at Mike who was supposed to be sleeping on the floor but he wasn't there. Will waited a bit and started to worry. He got up and looked around the house but no mike to be found untill he heard someone coughing on the porch. He made his way outside and there he was sitting in Will's spare clothes which were pretty small on him.  "Mike" he whispered "what are you doing out here this late?" He sat down beside the boy. "Sorry the floor isn't that comfortable so i couldn't sleep.." he laughed it off a little. "Why didn't you say so? You could catch a cold out here"  he asked and put his hand on mikes forehead to check if hes warm. "Didn't wanna wake you." He was really quiet. Will didn't say anything and just looked up to see if you could see the moon but because of the clouds he couldn't. He felt Mike's hand on his thigh. He was really gentle so Will really didn't mind it was really comfortable even. Will laid his head onto Mike's shoulder and they just stayed like this a bit. "We should really go inside now mike.." Will whispered but then noticed that the other boy had fallen asleep. He really didn't wanna wake him. He thought about getting up but he couldn't bring himself to. When will be the next time they can be this close without anyone bothering them? So he stayed and gently put mikes hand into his own. He felt a squeeze and Mike moving. "We should go inside Will..." he said really sleepy. Will agreed and they made their way into Will's room.Will was a little dissapointed. Just as Mike was about to  lay down on the floor again Will stopped him and pulled him by the hand toward him. "Get on the bed mike." He said serious.  "Woah buy me dinner first." Mike only now realized what joke he just made and was about to apologize but Will chuckled. Mike hesitantly let go of Will's hand and sat on the bed. "You're also sleeping on the bed right?" "No it'll be cramped up here together."
"Oh come on i dont take up that much space."
"Mike... I'll just sleep on the floor it's fine."
"Im not gonna let you" he got up now.
"Well i don't need your permission-" just then mike took him by his shoulders.
"Thats not what i meant and you know it." Mike chuckled a little and so did Will.
"Just let me go lets not make this complicated" Will wanted to lay down but Mike got closer to him and started pulling him toward the bed.
"Nah i think we'll make this as complicated as possible." Mike quickly threw him onto the bed and slipped only to land right on top of his friend. "Shit sorry" he mumbled and then looked into wills eyes. They were sparkling. Just looking at will gave him butterflies. How is he so pretty. He just stared at him. Will returned the stare. "You're so pretty and you don't even know it.." Mike whispered really quietly. Will heard and he started feeling nervous. They wanted to kiss each other so bad it hurt. They we're craving eachothers lips. "Sorry um.. i-" Mike got off of Will who as trying to process what the heck just happened.  They both laid down not a single word to be said. They were turned away from eachother while will then turned around. After a bit mike did too. They looked at eachother again. They seemed to be really closed to the point where they felt eachothers breath on their skin. Mike didnt know if Will was already asleep or not. He moved a little closer and put his hand onto Wills cheek. It was very soft to his surprise. He put his arm around will and pulled him close. "I really like you.." mike whispered and fell asleep. Will who was having a half a panic attack didnt know if he was dreaming or not and wasnt able to sleep. Was he dreaming? I guess he himself never found out.
