Prologue

Conceived by Tow Prologue:

Avlon thrashes around in her sleep as she feels the pain going on in her lower abdomen. She had been feeling pain and she had been spotting for a few days but her doctor said nothing was wrong.

A shooting pain goes through her body and she sits up quickly with a scream. Dallas sits up looking around for the threat and his eyes widen when he looks upon his wife.

Theirs blood all over their white sheets and shes hunched over in pain. "Avlon Angel." he says breathlessly getting out of the bed. He comes to her side and lifts the blanket off looking upon all of the blood.

When Avlon see's all of the blood she screams in pain and from the loss of another baby. She was four months along and she didnt think she could loose her little tadpole when she was so far along. "No, no, no." she sobs looking at her bloody hand. "Why God?" Why is this happening?" she ask looking out of the window and to the sky.

Dallas lifts his hysterical wife in his arms and rushes out of the house. He sets her in the front seat of the truck and speeds off to the hospital.

"My wife needs help." he shouts when they get into the silent hospital. Nurses rush to them with a gurney and he lays his sad Angle on the bed following as the wheel her away.

"You can't go any farther sir." the nurse informs him and he watches with tear filled eyes as they wheel her away and into the ER.

Dallas slumps against the floor and puts his face in his hands. "I know this is in your plan Lord but please tell us why and if you cant tell us why take Avlons pain away Lord let her find peace in knowing that this will only make her stronger."

"Sir." someone asks softly and Dallas looks up to see a nurse. "Would you like me to call your brother?"

Dallas nods and stands wiping his eyes. "Please."

"Would you like something to drink?" she ask walking to the front desk.

"No thank you." Dallas says taking a seat in one of the chairs. "Can you tell me whats happening?"

The nurse comes over and sits beside him with a sad smile. "I dont know whats happening but it souldn't be long before a Doctor comes to tell you whats happening."

Dallas gives her a smile thats barley there and puts his head in his hands again. The nurse sits there with him for what seems like ever untill the doctor comes out.

"Mr. Carter?" he asks coming to give Dallas a hand shake.

"How is she?"

The Doctor heaves a big sigh and shakes his head sadly before saying "She's sleeping but i'm sorry to say your baby was still born."
